Last November, I photographed Jen and Andy’s Mountain Lakes House Wedding in Princeton, New Jersey.
Jen and Andy were married at Princeton Meadow Church in Princeton, which was a gorgeous church with beautiful and unique wood finishes. They decided to be traditional with their ceremony and waited to see each other at the alter. My favorite part of their ceremony was when they sang gospels with their guests, I have photographed over 100 weddings and this is the first time I have seen the entire congregation sing together!
While exiting the church, these two ran through streamers while their friends and family cheered them on, I LOVE church exits!
The reception was at Mountain Lakes House in Princeton. Upon arrival, we immediately jumped into couple, bridal party and family photos. Jen and Andy are both scientists who met online. About a year into their relationship, they realized they were actually sat together at a science conference years earlier – absolute fate! <3
Their reception decor was very cute, these two are avid Lord of the Rings fans and tables were named after the books and there were many props from the series decorating their venue.
Their reception was a sweet and low key event. They danced their way in when they were introduced, they went from table to table cheersing their guests and even had a small and hilarious iPod snafu when it came time for their first dance. These two laughed and enjoyed their reception so much and I had a blast photographing them on this gorgeous Fall day.
Thank you to Jen and Andy for allowing me to photograph your special day! xoxox
