Wedding FAQS

We love your work, how do we book you?
I require a signed agreement and a 25% retainer to secure me for your wedding date.

When is the balance due?
The final balance is due 30 days before your wedding date.

When did you start photographing weddings?
I photographed my first wedding in 2008.

Do you have a travel fee?
Currently, I do not charge any travel fees for weddings in New Jersey and the surrounding areas. For engagement or other portraits sessions, if the location of your choice is more than 100 miles round trip from zip code 08057, I will work with you to determine a travel fee.

Do you photograph destination weddings?
YES! And I absolutely love them. I am blessed that photography has given me the opportunity to travel and am always willing to hop on a plane to photograph your special day. Please inquire for special destination rates.

How does the engagement session work?
Most packages include an engagement session that is approximately 60 minutes long. These sessions are scheduled on weekdays approximately 1.5 hours before sunset. Click here to read all about why I love shooting engagement sessions and tips for your shoot!

How many images do we get?
On average, I deliver anywhere from 1000-1300 final images for 10 hour weddings, but all weddings are different and many factors will go into how many images you receive. For engagement sessions, I deliver between 100-150 images.

How soon after our wedding or shoot are the proofs ready for viewing?
An online gallery of your photos is available for viewing 6-8 weeks after your wedding day. For engagement and other portrait sessions, your images are ready 3-4 weeks after the session. You may share the gallery with friends and family and I encourage you and your loved ones to purchase high quality professional prints directly from the online gallery!

Do you provide the digital files to the client?
Yes, my wedding couples receive a flash drive of high resolution images that are ready to print. For engagement and other portrait sessions, you will be able to download high resolution files straight from the online gallery.

Do you have liability insurance?
Yes, if your venue requires a copy of my insurance, please let me know!

What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer professional flushmount albums by RedTree Albums in a variety of sizes in both leather and fabric covers. Common sizes are 8×8, 10×10, and 12×12. I also offer parent albums, which are exact replicas of your album, but smaller.

Who are your second shooters?
All second shooters are hand selected by me and they are all working professional photographers with similar shooting styles and similar grade equipment.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I bring a minimum of two professional Canon camera bodies to all weddings along with a mixture of lenses, multiple flashes, triggers and light stands. I also carry plenty of batteries and their chargers with me to all shoots.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
From time to time, I have multiple weddings/events per weekend, but never multiple on the same day, you will always have my full attention!
