getting to know you
It all begins with the first inquiry. Once I confirm I have your date available and we chat about some details of the day, I will send along my contract and invoice! I do require a 25% retainer and a signed agreement to secure me for your date.

One of the best ways for us to get to know one another is the engagement shoot. During the engagement session, we'll figure out which poses come naturally to you and how to best capture your unique personalities. Think of it as a dress rehearsal, except at the end you get beautiful photos you'll treasure forever.

Planning your day
During the planning process, I am always happy to create the timeline well in advance so you can share it with your entire vendor team. Once that is approved, we will work on the shot list together so you don't have to worry about getting the right shots, sticking to a schedule, or missing the cocktail hour. You'll get to enjoy every moment of your wedding day!

Your Wedding Day!
On your wedding day, I'll begin with the bride and stay with her until it's time for the ceremony or the first look. Afterwards, we’ll meet up with the groom and my second shooter, and then you’ll have full coverage for the duration of the day. I’ll be there every step of the way to capture all those joyful and major moments.

Gallery Delivery
8 weeks after your special day, I will deliver your wedding gallery via an online gallery where you get to relive your day! The final step will be the design of your wedding album, once that is approved and ordered, you will receive your first family heirloom in a few short weeks!

Continued Friendship
And once you’re ready for the next round of milestones, I will be there to capture your maternity, newborn and future family sessions! Welcome to the SHP family!

Susan worked so hard on my wedding day, when I had no one else to advocate for me to make sure I had what I wanted. After a heartbreaking postponement, all I wanted was a ceremony on the beach. We knew the weather changes so quickly in Avalon, and she helped me make a perfect plan with our coordinator.

One of the things that impressed me most was her ability to command a large crowd without ruining the fun-energy or vibe. We had a very large wedding party (22) and a very complicated family dynamic but Susan was able to navigate all with ease. We were able to get every shot and combination that we wanted and still enjoy ourselves!
