Julie and Christian’s Camden County Boathouse wedding was the type of wedding that makes you think over and over, THIS IS WHY I SHOOT WEDDINGS! These two were one of the most in love couples I have ever photographed and both their smiles kept me smiling while shooting and again for weeks while I edited their images. I am so excited to share this wedding!
I started with the ladies at Julie’s mother’s home. I Do Hair and Makeup was busy working on the girls while I photographed all of Julie’s perfectly thought out details. One of my favorite details was the card Christian and Julie wrote one another, they BOTH accidentally filled out each other’s cards UPSIDE DOWN, if this wasn’t a sign they belong together, I don’t know what else could have been.
Once an emotional Julie was in her dress, it was time to take the Cescaphe Trolley to St Vincent Pallotti Church in Haddonfield, NJ for their ceremony. Our traditional couple opted to not see one another beforehand and Christian’s reaction to seeing his bride come down the aisle for the first time was priceless.
After the ceremony, we headed to Cooper River Park for bridal party and couple photos, our happy couple was filled with smiles, laughs and many kisses. This group was so fun and my second shooter, Josh and I enjoyed every second we had photographing them.
Once at Camden County Boathouse, it was finally time for the party to begin. The first dance was romantic and their speeches were sweet and emtional. Julie and Christian were an adventureous couple and were willing to sneak outside with me more than once for sunset and night shots. Our couple also surprised their guests with a Mr Softee truck for dessert, such a fun and unique way to treat your guests!
Julie and Christian were married July 4th weekend and thankfully Philly happened to have one of their professional fire work shows along the river this evening. The fireworks may have been far away, but you could still see them, which was such an amazing way to end their wedding day!
You two are the perfect example of why I do what I do, thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your perfect day <3
