Best of 2016 Engagements!

I am so excited to share my Best of 2016 Engagements! I am also ecstatic to share that I have won The Knot’s Best of Weddings 2017 for the THIRD year in a row!!

2016 has been my busiest year yet, I was all over New Jersey and the surrounding areas and I even flew all the way to Colorado to photograph a wedding!!

Fall will always be my favorite time of year for engagement photography, but looking back at my Spring photos from this year, I forgot how much I also love Spring! I managed to find so many beautiful cherry blossom trees with my couples and can’t wait to find more this April & May with my 2017 couples.

Another favorite location is the beach, I love the beach. I am a Long Island girl, so anytime I can get myself to the beach for a shoot is a major win in my book. My favorite beach shoot this year was with Samantha and Josh in Sea Isle City. The Jersey Shore can be a difficult spot to shoot between crowds, heavy winds and the heat in the Summertime, but this September day right after Labor Day was perfect.

Vineyards will always be a very close second to shooting on the beach. My other favorite thing in the world is wine! And to top it off, vineyards are always so rustic and pretty and those grapevines make the perfect background. I met Nicole & Zach this Fall at the Cape May Winery and loved so many of the photos we captured there.

Another favorite spot is Hoboken! I love this city. It has water views, a gorgeous view of the NYC skyline, a beautiful park on the water, a clock tower and a few small hidden gems I found with Kaitlyn & Tom.

Fall has become my busiest time of year. Wedding season is coming to a close and many of my couples want those beautiful colorful leaves in the background of their photos. I love the pop of color Fall gives us, but if you’d like a Fall engagement session, book early as my schedule really filled up fast this year!

And don’t be scared of props! They can add a little extra flair to your shoot, my couples this year brought blankets, beer glasses, wine, items with their date on it and even their dogs.
