WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE NEWBORN SESSION >
May 11, 2017
Danielle and Tom were married on April 8, 2016 and in mid – April of this year, we met at Batsto Village for their anniversary session! Batsto Village is the perfect spot for any type of session – anniversary, engagement or family! The rustic backdrops and open space was the perfect setting with the best sunlight!
This adorable couple met in the summer of 2010 when they both worked at Wawa, they worked separate shifts but had a 15 minute overlap in shift. After a few weeks of flirting, Danielle convinced Tom to go ice skating with her, since he had never gone before. The ice skating itself didn’t go very well, but they been together ever since. At the end of that summer, Danielle went back to campus at Rutgers New Brunswick and Tom stayed in South Jersey. They both really missed each other and realized it wasn’t just a summer fling.
Tom proposed on a lazy Sunday morning. After waking up, Tom made Danielle a delicious breakfast. When Danielle went to go let their two dogs outside, she came back to Tom on his knee. They were married in a rustic barn in North Jersey on a chilly April day in 2016. Tom is not a good dancer and they had spent a few weeks prior practicing their first dance in their living room. On the day of the wedding, it was like they had not practiced. Danielle laughed the entire time.
One thing I loved about this session is Danielle and Tom used items from their wedding day. Those gorgeous red shoes were Danielle’s wedding shoes and Tom’s suit and shoes was what he wore on the wedding day as well <3
Their dream in their marriage is to be happy and they are excited to see what life has in store for them. They celebrated their one year anniversary by dining at the Moshulu in Philadelphia.
Any advice for couple’s on their first year of marriage?
Marry your best friend. Communication is key.
I whole heartedly agree. Danielle and Tom, it was a blast getting to know you two, congratulations on your first year of marriage!
Every part of our journey through life is sacred and passes by way too quickly. Susan elegantly captures the story of your legacy from the beginning with marriage and throughout motherhood with each special season it brings.
