Ballroom at the Ben Wedding, Philadelphia, PA – Linda & Kevin

On Friday, I photographed Linda and Kevin’s Philadelphia Ballroom at the Ben wedding! We had a brisk November day for their wedding and their iconic Philadelphia day started with a ceremony at Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul followed by formal photo stops at City Hall, the Art Museum and then City Hall again for night photos before these two partied all night at the Ballroom at the Ben! I am so excited to share images from their gorgeous Ballroom at the Ben wedding!

I first met Linda and her bridesmaids at the Sheraton Downtown Philadelphia, only a few blocks away from their church, Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. As I was photographing all her details, I couldn’t help but LOVE her long Pronovias veil that matched her dress perfectly. I am a sucker for cathedral veils and Linda’s fit into her Ballroom at the Ben wedding perfectly. Once Linda was dressed, we hopped on the trolley to head to the church, but before she said “I do” to Kevin, we had a sweet first look with her Dad as Linda exited the trolley. Her father was one of my most emotional Dad’s ever, so I absolutely loved capturing this moment.

My favorite moment of the day was when we arrived at the Art Museum and were met with what felt like 150 excited high school kids who immediately started to go wild when they saw Linda and Kevin. As we walked towards the stairs, they ran towards us screaming and clapping and followed us halfway up the stairs, my couple loved it and laughed the whole time. It was such a fun moment to capture and I truly hope Linda and Kevin never forget it!

After leaving the Art Museum, we drove to City Hall for an epic night shot before we arrived at the Ballroom at the Ben for their wedding reception. This football loving couple (her the Eagles, him the Giants) made their entrances with their respective jersey’s and had a gorgeous first dance followed by emotional parent dances and sweet speeches. Once the dance floor was open and “Fly Eagles, Fly” was chanted, this group partied until the end. I absolutely loved capturing every moment of their Ballroom at the Ben wedding!
