The Reeds at Shelter Haven Wedding Photos – Laura & Gordon

Last weekend, I photographed Laura and Gordon’s The Reeds at Shelter Haven Wedding Photos! We had a gorgeous December day for their The Reeds at Shelter Haven wedding and I am so excited to share these images from this stunning Stone Harbor, New Jersey wedding!

I started the day with Laura in one of the suites at The Reeds. One thing I love about the Reeds is all their natural light in their rooms, it’s absolutely perfect for a natural light lover like myself! One of my favorite details of the day was Laura’s borrowed bracelet that belonged to her grandma, both her and her sister wore a bracelet that once belonged to her and it was such a sweet moment capturing her sister, Kathleen putting it on her wrist. Once Laura was dressed we headed down to the floating docks for a sweet first look between my excited bride and groom! Once the first look was complete and after we posed for a few photographs with their beloved dogs, we walked all over the grounds of the Reeds at Shelter Haven and captured these two in so many spots. I absolutely love the bright red door out front and we captured some of my favorite images of the day with their bridal party there! Their ceremony was absolutely stunning, and held outdoors on the deck of the Reeds at sunset. The colors in the sky over the bay were so picturesque and their personalized ceremony was perfect. They had a friend as their officiant and my couple of 13 years spoke their own vows to one another. After their first kiss, they held each other for a long sweet hug before joyfully walking down the aisle as husband and wife!

Once the reception began and the first dance and speeches were complete, their live band, The Nerds rocked for the rest of the night! They were such a fun band to have and I absolutely loved all their song choices. They even pulled Gordon up to play the cowbell for a song!
