Barnegat Lighthouse Engagement Session | Caitlin & Billy

Over the Summer, I photographed Caitlin and Billy’s Barnegat Lighthouse engagement session. Caitlin and Billy first met at a dive bar in Houston where they were playing corn hole against each other. Such a small world as they are both originally east coasters living in Texas (she is from New Jersey, he is from Pennsylvania). It was love at first sight! Their first real date was at a small Mexican restaurant in Houston in August of 2014. Caitlin says she knew right away that Billy was the one, about five minutes after she met him, she told her friend “He’ll probably be my boyfriend”.

Barnegat Lighthouse Engagement Session | Caitlin & Billy Engaged on 9/2/2018, the proposal from Caitlin: “We took a duel family vacation to Cape Cod following a wedding weekend in Boston. Staying on Lieutenant Island, with only one way to enter the island over a small bridge. Billy and I spent the day at the beach and on our way home, we got out of the car on the bridge and there was “Marry Me Cait” written out in seashells.”

When these two are not planning their romantic garden party wedding at the Atlantic City Country Club, you’ll likely find them in the kitchen as they love to cook together, they also love to spend time with their fur baby.

Once married, their dream is to continue to travel the world, they love experiencing new places and new foods! Eventually they would like to have their own children and then to adopt. Their goal is to eventually move closer to family and to spend as much quality time as possible with the people they love!
