I am so excited to share my list of the 10 Best Wedding Venues in South Jersey! I have been to venues all over the state and the below venues are my favorite venues in South Jersey!
The Atlantic City Country Club, located in Northfield, NJ (Atlantic County) is known as one of America’s oldest and most prestigious golf clubs and it is easy to see why! Located less than an hour from Philadelphia and just minutes from Atlantic City, the Atlantic City Country Club is the perfect South Jersey wedding venue. Reasons why I love ACCC is the massive bridal suite! It is the perfect room to get ready in and sits next to the elevated, open-air Skydeck which is amazing for popping champagne with your bridesmaids before the ceremony as well as cocktail hour. Another reason I love Atlantic City Country Club is their new ceremony site, The Skyline Garden, which provides panoramic views of the golf course and the Atlantic City Skyline. The covered patio also provides stunning views of the skyline and a full outdoor wedding.
Guest Capacity: Up to 250
The Bradford Estate, located in Hainesport, NJ (Burlington, County) is a charming country estate that sits along the Rancocas River. I love photographing weddings at the Bradford Estate because their accommodations are wonderful. The second floor has two large dedicated spaces for both the bride and groom to get ready, the bride’s suite is beautifully decorated and has amazing natural light, while the groom’s suite has a game room equipped with tv’s and pool tables. The manicured outdoor space is perfect for a ceremony and cocktail hour, not to mention stunning portraits. The staff at The Bradford Estate are some of the best in the area!
The Camden County Boathouse, located in Pennsauken, NJ (Camden County) is the perfect location for a waterfront reception. The venue is recently renovated and the second floor, where both cocktail hour and the reception take place overlook the Cooper River and the Philadelphia skyline.
The Collingswood Grand Ballroom, located in Collingswood, NJ (Camden County) is a historic venue filled with charm. Reasons why I love this venue are the high ceilings, the large dance floor and the dramatic grand staircase. The ballroom also features a wrap-around mezzanine level overlooking the reception area which is perfect for cocktail hour and watching the couple’s first “spot light” dance. The venue offers both a bridal and groom suite and the bridal suite has been recently fully renovated. The estate mansion front also makes a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos.
The Moorestown Ballroom located within the Community House of Moorestown (Burlington County) is another historic venue that I love in South Jersey. Located on Moorestown’s Main Street, this venue uniquely combines the charm of a 1920’s English Manor while also showcasing its historic architecture, these two combinations creates a romantic backdrop for your special day! The Ballroom, with its coffered ceiling, wood paneling and grand fireplace reflects the charm and quiet dignity of an English manor home. The second floor features a large space for both the bride and groom to get ready and the library is an intimate room for an indoor ceremony. Finally, the building itself is a stunning backdrop for an outdoor ceremony and portraits.
Renault Winery, located in Egg Harbor City, NJ (Atlantic County) is one of the best wedding venues in South Jersey because of it romance and how elegant it is! It is also one of the oldest continuously operating vineyards in the United States, the property has been crafting fine wines for over 150 years and has seven gorgeous wedding venues to choose from that can accommodate both ceremonies and receptions. I loved photographing here because they have spaces that can accommodate both large and intimate weddings and the luxurious tent can be used for outdoor weddings!
Guest Capacity: 300+
Scotland Run Golf Club, located in Williamstown, NJ (Gloucester County) is one of the best wedding venues in South Jersey by far! I love their garden space as it is a stunning backdrop for portraits. The ceremony space, located within the gardens has an outdoor pavilion which keeps your guests covered during your ceremony. After the outdoor ceremony, your guests are treated to a cocktail hour in the Ottinger Conservatory, a glass enclosed cocktail space with views of the golf course. The ballroom is recently renovated with hardwood floors throughout and features floor to ceiling windows which offers sweeping views of the golf course.
The Hamilton Manor, located in Hamilton, NJ (Mercer County) is the perfect venue for a rustic chic wedding reception. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the metal gazebo is a stunning backdrop for photos and an outdoor ceremony. The Barn is covered and is another lovely backdrop for photos, an indoor ceremony and cocktail hour. The ballroom features cathedral ceilings and a stage that is perfect for a live band. I have found the lighting at the Hamilton Manor is so dreamy for portraits and the grounds offer tons of options for backdrops!
Windows on the Water at Frogbridge in Millstone, NJ (Monmouth County) is a stunning private lakeside oasis set on 86 acres. I love this venue because it feels so woodsy and the entire venue is outdoors but is still so luxurious. I love the tented ballroom that overlooks the lake and the grounds offer so many options for photos.
Every part of our journey through life is sacred and passes by way too quickly. Susan elegantly captures the story of your legacy from the beginning with marriage and throughout motherhood with each special season it brings.
