Are you planning a Micro Wedding? If so, Erica and Alex’s wedding is the perfect inspiration! They had a lovely Spring day filled with cherry blossoms and their day began with a ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church in Moorestown, NJ and ended with an intimate reception at Braddocks Tavern in Medford, NJ. I am so excited to share this stunning Spring micro wedding.
Erica and Alex’s Spring micro wedding began at her mother’s home in Marlton, NJ where I photographed her lovely details, she had a color palette of dusty rose and other shades of pink that tied in perfectly with their Spring portraits that we later photographed. One of my favorite details of the day was the navy blue heart made from one of her late father’s ties sewn into her wedding dress that she had as a tribute to him.
My couple had a ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown. The inside of the church is a beautiful shade of blue and had the best natural light. This gorgeous church, which is minutes from my home is now my favorite church to photograph in! After their ceremony, they exited the church to bubbles and then I photographed my happy couple on the grounds of the church. Alex’s father lives in an assisted living community so he wasn’t able to attend their wedding, so we did the next best thing and drove to him for a few sweet photos! There was a gorgeous white flowering tree on the grounds of Harmony Village that gave this family their first family portrait in many years, it was a very emotional moment for all and I am always grateful I can hide my eyes behind a camera! I was so happy to be able to do this for Alex and his family.
Soon after, we drove to an old Victorian home then the Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown for a few more romantic photos before these two had their intimate reception at Braddock’s Tavern. One of my favorite parts of the day was the vintage Rolls Royce from Albert’s Limo that my couple had to drive them to each location, it served as the perfect backdrop to so many of our photos!
Are you planning a micro wedding? If so, I hope you enjoyed Alex and Erica’s wedding day recap!
Every part of our journey through life is sacred and passes by way too quickly. Susan elegantly captures the story of your legacy from the beginning with marriage and throughout motherhood with each special season it brings.
