WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE NEWBORN SESSION >
January 17, 2025
Every year, I look forward to sharing my best of blog post and this year’s Best of 2024 Weddings is no exception! This year, I photographed 28 stunning weddings and the year started off with a snowy start at The Palace at Somerset Park and ended with a chilly winter wedding at the Drexelbrook with lots of gorgeous Spring, hot Summer and beautiful Fall weddings in between! This was the year of spins, lifts and dips and private vows read between my couples. My couples also did not disappoint with the most picturesque details, my couples really stepped up their details game and I was not complaining.
The wedding venue locations I photographed at the most were: Scotland Run Golf Club with 3 weddings, Renault Winery with 3 weddings and the Bradford Estate with 4 weddings! I also photographed at ICONA Windrift, Laurel Creek Country Club, Tavistock Country Club, Smithville Inn, The Estate at Florentine Gardens, Linwood Country Club, The Mansion on Main Street, Pen Ryn Mansion, Windows on the Water at Surfrider Beach Club, LBI National, The Kimmel Center and Country House at Bluestone! I photographed at country clubs, estates, mansions, beaches, in the city, wineries, and weddings that had 300 guests down to just 60. I love the diversity of being a wedding photographer and enjoy that every weekend brings me a unique couple and experience!
The top color of 2024 for the weddings I photographed was pale blue – and my favorite variation of that pale blue are blue floral patterns! Everyone who knows me knows that floral is my favorite color so seeing pops of floral bridesmaid dresses has become my one of my favorite things to see at weddings!
Some unforgettable moments of 2024:
The snow at Kalli and John’s wedding was absolutely freezing but also breathtaking!
Noelle and Brandon’s Laurel Creek Country Club wedding, it was a real feel temperature of 111 on their day! We had to cut their portraits early and wait until sunset to finish!
I styled Charissa and Joe’s sweetheart table at their Scotland Run Golf Club reception, my second calling must be a wedding florist! 🙂
I can still hear Cara and Kyle’s laughter from their Renault Winery wedding when I look back at their images.
I will never forget the clouds that rolled in right before Hannah and Jim’s LBI National wedding! The venue bumped up their ceremony to avoid the weather, we somehow got so lucky!
And I’ll never forget how emotional Jason was at his and Allyson’s Renault Winery wedding as well as Chase at Brooke and Chase’s intimate Ocean City wedding. I have been blessed with some of the sweetest bride’s and groom’s!
As I head into the 2025 wedding season, I am always so thankful for all my couples who trust me to be their photographer from marriage to motherhood! I take great joy and pride that you all trust me with each and every important milestone, I cannot wait to see what this great year brings!
Every part of our journey through life is sacred and passes by way too quickly. Susan elegantly captures the story of your legacy from the beginning with marriage and throughout motherhood with each special season it brings.
