There’s something magical about fall weddings at Running Deer Golf Club—the warm golden light, the rich colors, and the sense of coziness that seems to settle into every corner of the day. This wedding was no exception. From the moment I arrived, it was clear we were in for something truly special.
Jaclyn and Dave chose a stunning light blue color palette, which paired beautifully with the season’s natural hues. Soft blues, warm fall tones, and lush florals created a romantic, elevated look throughout the entire celebration. Every detail felt thoughtful and effortless, and the florals were absolutely breathtaking – full of texture, movement, and vibrant seasonal color.
One of the sweetest parts of the day was the ring bearer and flower girl: the bride’s niece and nephew who are twins. They stole the show more than once, bringing pure joy and the cutest little moments that had everyone smiling. Their adorable outfits and a pulled wagon down the aisle were the perfect addition to an already heartfelt ceremony. Once the reception began, it was all energy and celebration. The dance floor filled quickly and stayed packed all night long, with guests of every age joining in. From emotional first dances to hilarious group moments, the night was full of love, laughter, and movement—exactly the kind of reception every couple dreams of.

Jaclyn and Dave’s first date was at the restaurant Kaminski’s in Cherry Hill in November of 2019. They hit it off and learned so much about each other from the start! They quickly went on a lot of other fun dates including top golf, bowling, and mini golf. Jaclyn knew Dave was the one after only a few dates. He made everything so easy and stress free and always talked about their future together so she knew he was on the same page. Dave knew Jaclyn was the one after the first few dates and especially after she met his parents. He loved how caring, independent, and respectful she was to him and everyone he knew.
Engaged on 11/4/2023, the proposal: “Dave planned a nice dinner at Riverwinds and then drove us to Red Bank Battlefield. We walked across the water for a few minutes while he waited for a spot where no one was around and then got down on one knee. When we got back to our apartment, my friends were over and had decorated the apartment for us and we all went out to celebrate that night!”
When Jaclyn, a pediatric nurse and Dave, a land surveyor weren’t planning their Running Deer Golf Club wedding, they love to go to the beach, hang out with friends and families, and workout together.

Now married, their dreams include traveling and then they hope to have kids in the near future. Their ultimate goal is to eventually move to a lake house in the Carolina’s. They were most looking forward to having all of our favorite people in one room and dancing all night!
Photographing this wedding at Running Deer Golf Club was such a joy. The combination of beautiful fall scenery, an incredible vendor team, and a couple so clearly in love made this day one to remember. I’m so excited to share some of my favorite moments from their story.

Every part of our journey through life is sacred and passes by way too quickly. Susan elegantly captures the story of your legacy from the beginning with marriage and throughout motherhood with each special season it brings.
