Karly & Josh’s November wedding at Renault Winery was the perfect blend of modern elegance and whimsical charm, all wrapped in a soft fall atmosphere. Their color palette of moss green, cream, and white paired beautifully with the venue’s rustic romance, while the black-tie optional dress code elevated the entire day with a touch of sophistication.

The morning unfolded with quiet anticipation, leading to an unforgettable first look on the iconic Renault bridge. As soon as they saw each other, all nerves melted away. From there, the couple wandered into the vines where they exchanged their emotional private vows – a moment filled with tears, laughter, and the sweetest promises for their future together.

Their indoor ceremony was warm and intimate, surrounded by their loved ones. Once it was time to celebrate, the reception kicked off with a romantic first dance that set the tone for the night. Heartfelt speeches brought happy tears, but it didn’t take long before the dance floor turned lively – Karly & Josh were more than ready to party, and their guests matched their energy all night long!

Karly and Josh met playing pickleball in Arlington, Virginia. They both showed up at the local courts one night, and had a blast playing as partners! After a long night of pickleball, Josh asked Karly to play one more game. She told him she was starving, and wanted Chipotle. Josh promised to buy her Chipotle if they won their last game. She says she has never seen Josh try so hard at anything in his entire life! They talked for hours in an Arlington Chipotle.

Karly knew Josh was the one when her dog, Jersey, an extremely shy seven month old puppy, warmed up to Josh in a matter of minutes. She knew he was someone special.

Engaged on 09/01/2024, the proposal: “We got engaged on a boat on the Potomac River, overlooking the Lincoln Memorial. Josh knew that I loved being out on the water, and arranged a “belated birthday” boat ride for us and Jersey.”

When Karly, a lawyer and Josh, an accountant weren’t planning their November wedding at Renault Winery, you are likely to find them on the pickleball court! Additionally, they love playing board games, watching football, and spending time with their friends and family. Now married, Josh’s dream is for them to buy a house where they can raise a family. Karly’s dream is to go through all stages of life with her best friend by her side.

Their advice for couples currently planning is to keep in mind that there are many decisions to make while planning a wedding. The important thing to remember is that there are truly no wrong answers. All that matters is what you and your fiancé think is best. Karly says she was most looking forward to dancing with Josh! And Josh couldn’t wait to see Karly in her dress.
