Collin
There’s something so beautifully romantic about a rainy wedding day and Cassandra and Collin’s Renault Winery Spring Wedding was the perfect reminder that a little rain only adds to the magic.
From meaningful moments shared with family to elegant, timeless details woven throughout the day, their celebration was centered on what mattered most: love, connection, and being surrounded by their favorite people.
The day began at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, where Cassie and Collin exchanged vows in a Catholic ceremony. The church setting created such a timeless and sacred atmosphere, perfectly reflecting their vision for a classic and elegant wedding day.
As they stood hand in hand, surrounded by family and friends, you could feel just how meaningful this moment was, not just for them, but for everyone who came to celebrate alongside them.
Rain may have made an appearance, but it never once took away from the beauty of this Renault Winery Spring Wedding. Instead, it created a soft, romantic ambiance that made the entire day feel even more intimate.
We were still able to capture stunning portraits both indoors and outdoors at Renault Winery, using the venue’s charming architecture and cozy spaces to our advantage.
And honestly, there’s something about a couple willing to embrace the weather that always results in the most genuine, joy filled images.
Cassie and Collin’s vision came to life through a sophisticated color palette of black, white, and gold—a combination that will truly never go out of style.
From the refined attire to the clean, classic décor, every detail felt intentional and effortlessly elegant. Their wedding style perfectly reflected who they are as a couple: timeless, graceful, and focused on what truly matters.
More than anything, this day was about being together.
Cassie and Collin placed such an emphasis on family and quality time, and you could feel that in every moment from quiet exchanges with loved ones to the joy that filled the room during the reception.
Having all of their favorite people in one place meant everything to them, and that love radiated throughout the entire celebration.
Rainy skies, heartfelt vows, and a room full of love, Cassie and Collin’s Renault Winery Spring Wedding was the perfect beginning to their next chapter.
It was a day that proved you don’t need perfect weather for a perfect wedding—just the right person, the right people by your side, and a whole lot of love.

Cassie and Collin’s story actually began in 2015 in high school. Their class schedules aligned and they ended up in the same gym period. It was here where they first truly caught each other’s eyes. They would spend the class chatting away, and Collin, being a true gentleman, would walk Cassie to her other classes. While this sounded like the start of a perfect high school romance, the timing wasn’t right. They felt there were so many unknowns in their future – where they would we go to college, would they see each other often – that it was best to take a step back. While they went their separate ways, little did they know their paths would soon cross again in 2018!
Their first date was in Princeton, NJ in June 2018. Prior to the date, they had reconnected at a mutual friend’s high school graduation party and decided to meet up in Princeton the next weekend. They ended up at Halo Pub for ice cream and walked around town and the campus. It ended up pouring rain so they weathered out the storm in the Princeton football stadium. They ended up talking for hours and hanging out there. Once the rain ended they made their way back to their cars where they shared their first kiss!

Collin knew Cassie was the one when out of the blue she showed up at one of his good friend’s high school graduation party. At that point, they hadn’t seen each other for some time and had talked only here and there. But, when Cassie walked into the backyard and Collin saw her, he felt a feeling of joy that he still remembers to this day. They talked the entire night, laughing and catching up on each others lives. It was seamless and he couldn’t help but to fall in love with her in that moment. The next morning, Collin’s Dad asked how his night was and he was honest, he told him “Dad, Cassie was there and it was the best night ever”. Cassie showing up that night by chance was all he needed to know that she was the one.
Cassie says she doesn’t think there was an exact moment where she knew Collin was the one. She just always had this intuition that they were meant to be. Collin always felt like home, making her feel complete.
Engaged 04/06/2024, the proposal: “The day was set up to be an early 6 year anniversary date as we’d be in California for a wedding on our actual anniversary (April 13). Little did Cassie know she’d be led on a scavenger hunt around Pittsburgh to 6 different locations. Each location held a special place in our hearts including Mount Washington, Holland Hall, Primanti’s, St. Pauls Cathedral, and the Hot Metal Bridge. He officially proposed at the High Line and we ended the night at our favorite Italian restaurant, Girasole. The cherry on top of the day were the hand painted cards that Collin made for each location.”
Their advice for couples currently planning their weddings is to take your time. They had nearly a two year engagement and it has been the best thing ever! They have been able to enjoy the wedding planning process and appreciate being each other’s fiancé, rather than stressing or feeling overwhelmed
They were most excited to just being able to call each other, husband and wife, as they have been together over 8 years! They have grown up together and have been through so many things, and they cannot wait for new experiences together and to continue to accomplish their dreams together.
Thank you to Cassie and Collin for choosing me to photograph your beautiful Renault Winery wedding!
