A Ceremony Filled with Meaning and Emotion

This ceremony was incredibly personal and emotional, exactly what destination weddings are all about!

The couple chose to have Cory’s aunt officiate, which added such a meaningful and intimate touch. They read their own vows, sharing words that had everyone (including me!) tearing up and laughing behind the camera (hello flossing and the espresso martini coffee book!).

One of the most powerful moments was when they chose to break the glass, honoring tradition while celebrating the start of their marriage. There were so many happy tears, heartfelt smiles, and genuine emotion woven into every second. And finally, their unexpected walk down the aisle to “YMCA” had all their guests singing and dancing in their seats!

A Relaxed Cocktail Hour with a Mexican Twist

Following the ceremony, guests transitioned into a laid back and joy filled cocktail hour.

A live mariachi band brought the energy and culture of Mexico to life, creating such a fun and memorable atmosphere. Guests sipped on the couple’s signature cocktail—“Something Blue”—and enjoyed playful touches like Mexican candy shots.

It was the perfect blend of celebration and relaxation, allowing everyone to soak in the moment before the night really took off.

Surrounded by the People Who Matter Most

One of the most beautiful parts of any destination wedding is the intention behind the guest list.

This couple was surrounded by 60+ of their closest family and friends, all of whom traveled to Cancun to celebrate alongside them. There’s something so special about knowing that every single person present made the effort to be there. It creates a deeper, more connected experience for everyone!

You could truly feel how loved these two are in every moment of the day.

The Dance Floor That Stole the Show

While every part of this wedding was incredible, the real highlight of the night was the dance floor.

From the very first song, it was completely packed and it stayed that way all night long. My bride and groom never left the dance floor, fully soaking in every second of their celebration.

This is what I always tell my couples: your wedding day goes by so quickly—be present, be joyful, and don’t hold back. These two embodied that perfectly.
