August Wedding at Renault Winery | Cara & Kyle

On August 24, 2024, I photographed Cara and Kyle’s August Wedding at Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City, NJ! Their elegant day had a color palette of blue and white with gorgeous floral prints in shades of blue throughout. All the details of their Champagne Ballroom wedding were stunning from her invitation suite, to her floral print perfume, to their welcome and seating chart signs to the blue tapered candles at their reception, every detail was perfectly thought out and executed. The day was filled with portraits all over the grounds of Renault, a personalized ceremony with the bride’s brother as the officiant, their own vows and a dip down the aisle. Once the reception began, it was a party! Cara and Kyle entered with a choreographed first dance, there were sweet speeches and even Elmo made an appearance! They never left the dance floor and ended the night with a tee shirt toss where the tee shirts included the many faces of Kyle. What a fun, beautiful and joyful day!

Cara and Kyle met during college while they both attended Fordham University at a bar called Howl at the Moon. They had a few mutual friends and knew of each other, but that was the night they hit it off. Their first date was at an Italian deli in the Bronx called Tino’s in October of 2015. During the remainder of their time in college, they would eat there for lunch almost every Monday afternoon and they still go back there to this day!

Engaged on 05/06/2023, the proposal from Cara: “During college, we would spend a good amount of time together at the NY Botanical Gardens because they are across the street from campus. After graduating, we would always go back at least once a year. When we went in May of 2023, that was when Kyle popped the question. Afterwards, we celebrated at Tino’s Deli, the location of our first date!”

When Cara and Kyle weren’t planning their August Wedding at Renault Winery, they love to watch Jeopardy, play cards, go for walks, go to the beach, ski, and watch sports. Now married, their dreams include always enjoying each other’s company and hopefully they will one day have children and a dog but for now they try to just appreciate each day.

Their advice for couple’s currently planning their wedding is try to enjoy the little things! It all goes by so quick. And finally, they were most looking forward to celebrating with all of their family and friends. Cara and Kyle mini mooned in Cape May and will honeymoon next year in Hawaii!
