WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE NEWBORN SESSION >
May 3, 2018
Last fall, I photographed Marcy and Andrew’s adorable Batsto Village Engagement Session! We had a brisk Fall day for their session, but you would never know it, these two had so much chemistry and were the absolute sweetest, I cannot wait for their wedding day! Marcy and Andrew first met on the first day of marching band at Temple University and their first date was dinner at a German restaurant, Bierstube in Philly. After enjoying dinner they walked to Franklin Fountain for some delicious ice cream!
Engaged on 09/30/2016, the proposal from Marcy: “Andrew and I parked the car on Temple’s campus and took an Uber to Devon’s Seafood in Rittenhouse Square. We had Lobster Bisque to start dinner off, a bottle of wine, and a lot of other delicious foods! After dinner we went to the opera. Once the opera was finished we went back to campus. As we walked around campus Andrew reflected on our relationship and great times we’ve had together. Our last stop on our walk was Founder’s Garden (where the Founder of Temple University is buried). The Garden is a paved circle surrounded by beautiful trees with lights. Andrew got on one knee and proposed!”
Marcy and Andrew are planning an elegant and classic winter wedding at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom in South Jersey and I cannot wait! When these two aren’t wedding planning, these Temple grads are attending Temple football games, Flyers games and they also love board games! They enjoy cooking together and loving their two kittens, Walter and Sheldon. Their dream is to build a home together, have kids, do a bit of traveling as a family and to have fun and make memories during all of it!
Any advice for future bride’s planning?
My advice for future bride’s planning is to just get it done in an organized fashion. Make a list and stay on top of things because time will fly by!
And finally, what are you most looking forward to about your wedding day?
Marcy: I look forward to making memories with each other and our families that will last a lifetime. Andrew: Seeing Marcy come down the aisle.
Every part of our journey through life is sacred and passes by way too quickly. Susan elegantly captures the story of your legacy from the beginning with marriage and throughout motherhood with each special season it brings.
