Best of 2017 – New Jersey Wedding Photographer

I have been looking forward to sharing this blog post all year, without further ado, here is my Best of 2017 – New Jersey Wedding Photographer blog post!

Major milestones this year included photographing 33 weddings under Susan Hennessey Photography as well as my 100th wedding! I won Best of the Knot 2018 for the 4th year in a row and was inducted into the Best of the Knot Hall of Fame this year as well. I also found out today that I won the 2018 Wedding Wire Couples Choice Award, such a big year!

I traveled all over for weddings this year and even photographed my first international wedding in Mexico, which was such a fun wedding and an amazing experience. I am always so thankful that photography has been able to allow me to travel, which was always a dream of mine! I photographed weddings all the way from Long Island to Cape May and everything in between. I photographed weddings on the beach, in barns, on golf courses and at historic locations. Wedding themes ranged from classic and elegant to laid back and rustic. My couples have all been so good to me and each and every one of them is why I continue on my path as a wedding photographer.

I found myself at some amazing venues this year, some of which were a first! Some of the new venues that I photographed at in 2017 were the historic The Nassau Inn, Normandy Farms, Pomme, National Museum of American Jewish History, The Reeds at Shelter Haven, Jack’s Barn, Stockton Seaview, The Grand Hotel (I truly love Cape May!), Martell’s Waters Edge, The Manor, Hunting Hill Mansion at Ridley Creek finally William Penn Inn!

I was also able to shoot at some venues for the 2nd and 3rd times this year as well, those included David’s Country Inn, Skyview Golf Club, Blue Heron Pines (twice!), The English Manor, The Park Savoy Estate, Old York Country Club, The Bradford Estate, The Windrift Hotel (three times!), The Madison, The Hamilton Manor, Collingswood Grand Ballroom and The Ballroom at the Ben.

2018 is already shaping up to be just as amazing! I cannot wait to look back and reflect on all the amazingness that is 2018 in one year.
