Blue Heron Pines Wedding Photography – Nicole & Robbie

Last August, I had the honor of capturing Nicole and Robbie’s gorgeous Blue Heron Pines wedding photography in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey. Nicole and Robbie planned a traditional and elegant wedding for their day and I am so excited to share these photos. Nicole and Robbie met through Robbie’s sister in law and on their first date, they went to the movies. Robbie later proposed to Nicole in that same backyard they first met in, she was completely caught off guard as Robbie got down on one knee while she was in the middle of eating a peach! He even caught the whole proposal on video!

I started the day with Nicole and her bridesmaids in the bridal suite at Blue Heron Pines. Nicole and Robbie had decided early on that they wanted to be traditional on their day and not see each other prior to the ceremony, which also happened to be their favorite moment of the day at their Blue Heron Pines wedding. They had a sunny afternoon for their ceremony and there was not a dry eye when Nicole walked down the aisle, especially from Robbie! Robbie was in tears watching his beautiful bride walk down the aisle and I adored capturing this special moment. Their reception was one of the most fun I captured all year. Robbie has a great sense of humor and his personality shined throughout. They were introduced as Mr and Mrs at the reception wearing blow up crowns (Robbie’s last name is Prince so wearing crowns was absolutely fitting!), which they also wore for speeches and finally, the garter retrieval was hilarious with Robbie wearing a head lamp and pulled out a rubber chicken before the real garter.

Now that Nicole and Robbie are back from their Riveria Maya, Mexico honeymoon and recently bought their first home, they hope to fill it with kids, and live a long happy life.
