WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE NEWBORN SESSION >
December 30, 2015
A couple of months ago, I photographed Brittany and Noah’s perfectly beautiful and rustic Blue Heron Pines wedding in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey.
I first met Brittany and Noah last year at their engagement shoot. These two are high school sweethearts and my favorite part of their love story is that they met in their high school photography class. The amount of chemistry these two had together at their shoot made me super excited to photograph their wedding day and they certainly did not disappoint.
I started the day out at bridal prep at the Blue Heron Pines with Brittany and her girls. The girls were bustling around the venue setting up final touches and while they did this, I photographed all her gorgeous details, which I loved!
This group of girls were super close, her maids of honor were her twin sister and older sister and her other bridesmaids were old friends. While getting the dress on, this group laughed and giggled the whole time!
While I photographed the girls, my second shooter Lauren photographed the gentlemen at a nearby hotel. I loved all these classic getting ready shots that she captured!
Once they arrived to the venue, the guys headed right to the bar, always such a different vibe with the guys! 🙂
By the time the first look arrived, Brittany was nearly jumping up and down in anticipation – she even asked my second shooter if she could see a photo of Noah in his tux, which I quickly said no to – that’s cheating!
Their first look was sweet and emotional. I always love this moment and am glad we hid our photos of Noah from Brittany.
After the first look, we jumped in a couple of golf carts and headed to the willow tree for photos. These two were so romantic! I enjoyed photographing them so much!
This tight knot group was tons of fun to shoot when it came time for bridal party portraits. We did a ton of laughing and their love and happiness was evident!
The ceremony was sweet and once again filled with tears of joy. There was not a single dry eye when Brittany walked down the aisle to Noah and again during their sweet and personal vows. The second these two were named husband and wife, it was pure delight!
Brittany and Noah’s reception details were very them. She made a lot of them and even reused some of our engagement shoot props!
One of my favorite moments of the reception was their speeches. My eyes were filled with tears as I listened to each person say such amazing things about these two – it was even revealed that Noah has given Brittany flowers every month on their anniversary for 8 (EIGHT!) years. Cutest thing ever!
Once dinner was served this group partied until the very end, but another favorite moment of the night was when I grabbed these two for a few sweet night portraits outside.
Thank you to Brittany and Noah for allowing me to document your day! It was absolutely perfect!
