WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE NEWBORN SESSION >
October 19, 2016
Chris & Karen’s Forsgate Country Club Wedding was a gorgeous and colorful day. I am so happy and excited to share this beautiful wedding!
I first met Karen and Chris last year at our engagement shoot at the Plainsboro Preserve in Plainsboro, New Jersey. I had a blast walking around with these two and knew their day would be special. I started the day at a hotel near Forsgate Country Club with Karen and her bridesmaids. The girls were in the middle of hair and makeup while I focused on her gorgeous details. I loved their invitation and Karen picked the prettiest jewelry!
While I was with the men, my second shooter, Josh was with the guys in a nearby room. I loved all the sweet photos that Josh managed to capture of Chris, our shy groom gave us quite a few adorable smiles! 🙂
Once at Forsgate, it was time for the first look. Karen and Chris have been together for many years and I loved this moment between them. We continued with more romantic photos on the grounds of the country club before capturing a ton of fun photos of this lively crowd and their bridal party.
Their ceremony was sweet and personal. Karen’s uncle was the officiant and I loved the ecstatic look on their faces when he pronounced them Husband and Wife!
During cocktail hour, Josh and I were able to steal these two away for a few more minutes. I love everything we captured <3
Karen and Chris had one of the most entertaining receptions of the year for me to photograph! But before the party started we had entertaining intros, a romantic first dance and sweet and hilarious speeches.
During the reception, I was lucky enough to steal these two away for a few additional sunset shots. These two were giggling and laughing the whole time, I loved this mini session with them!
Once their live band, The Benjamins started, the dance floor was never empty. They played tons of fun songs and this group enjoyed every minute of it. I LOVED capturing all the moments this group gave me! 🙂 My favorite moment was after dinner when Karen’s father grabbed his guitar and joined the band for a couple of Bruce Springsteen songs. We captured tons of epic reception moments with this crowd!
Thank you to Karen and Chris for allowing me to capture your AMAZING day!!! <3
