Edgewood Country Club Wedding | River Vale, NJ | Brianna & Mike

On July 1st, I photographed Brianna and Mike’s Edgewood Country Club wedding in River Vale, NJ. Brianna and Mike had a modern wedding at the beautiful Edgewood Country Club with their ceremony officiated by their close friend. Their day was filled with family and friends, laughing and love, great food and drinks and of course, dancing the night away! I am so excited to share Brianna and Mike’s Summer wedding at Edgewood Country Club!

Brianna and Mike are both teachers, she teaches second grade and he teaches Physical Education and Health, they met at Lincoln School in Rockaway where they both teach. They would speak at work and spent a few lunches eating together in the Teacher’s room, but they never had the chance to sit down alone and get to know one another. Their first date was October 16, 2018 at South & Pine in Morristown, NJ, they talked so much at dinner, they were asked to leave because the restaurant was closing!

Edgewood Country Club Wedding | River Vale, NJ | Brianna & Mike Engaged on 10/1/20, the proposal from the couple: Working and living together, Mike had a hard time being sneaky! Especially with a Ring doorbell that Brie frequently checks! He got a bottle of Brie’s favorite wine and took the label off. He replaced it with a label of his own saying, “That time Mike was behind you, on one knee, asking you to spend the rest of your life with him.” Mike had to hide the bottle in the back of his shirt to make sure Brie didn’t see it on the Ring camera!

Brianna’s advice for other couple’s planning is to ask advice from family and friends who have experienced it before. Try and talk with those whose weddings you have attended and enjoyed. Get as many ideas as possible and infuse them into your own. Enjoy the things that take little time to accomplish! They were most looking forward to having all of their friends, family, and coworkers in one place and enjoying everyone’s presence. They couldn’t wait to get married and to enjoy a night of dancing and having fun together. Now that they are married, they would love to have children, Mike wants as many as they can! They dream of living and growing old watching their children play and spending time as a family and going on trips whenever they can. Brianna and Mike are currently on an amazing honeymoon in Aruba!
