Ellen and Peter’s fall wedding at The Bradford Estate in Hainesport, NJ was the perfect blend of classic elegance, heartfelt family moments, and nonstop celebration. Their vision was simple yet meaningful – a dance floor full of people with a drink in hand, and they absolutely delivered on that dream!
The day unfolded beautifully against the warm, romantic tones of fall. Their color palette of burgundy, sage green, peach, and ivory set a timeless tone throughout the decor. Family played such a special role in their day — Ellen’s brother stood proudly as her man of honor, and Peter’s sister served as his woman of honor. It was such a touching reminder of how love extends beyond two people, bringing families even closer together. And, of course, Ellen’s adorable nephew nearly stole the show as the sweetest little ring bearer!
Their Jewish ceremony was both emotional and joyful, filled with laughter, happy tears, and tradition. As the sun set over The Bradford Estate, guests filled the dance floor, glasses raised high, celebrating the newlyweds in true Ellen and Peter fashion – with energy, joy, and so much love.

Peter and Ellen met when they worked together at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, on an inpatient unit. Peter started as a tech and Ellen was a nurse on the unit. They had their first date at Catina Los Caballitos, a Mexican Restaurant in Passayunk, Philadelphia on April 10, 2021
Engaged 11/2/24, the proposal: “Peter surprised Ellen with a weekend in Cape May NJ, our favorite place. Little did Ellen know (or so peter thought), he planned an entire weekend surrounding our engagement. We got engaged at sunset on the beach and then we headed to Cape May Brewery. All of our closest family and friends were waiting for us at the brewery to celebrate.”
Peter and Ellen moved to New Jersey a little over a year ago. They have learned the area by visiting local coffee shops and their competitive nature definitely gets the best of them in their day to day lives, whether in activities, games, or in the little details of the day. Now married, Peter and Ellen look forward to moving into a house and leaving apartment living behind. They love to travel and are fortunate that they have already enjoyed quite a few adventures in their time together. Their hope is to grow old together, enjoying all of the coffee and relaxing on the weekends.
Their advice for couples currently planning is to remember that this day is about you and the first chapter of your new normal. Don’t let the day be consumed by the wants of those around you! Ellen and Peter were most looking forward to good food, drinks, and celebrating their relationship with their friends and family!
My happy couple honeymooned in Aruba! Thank you for choosing me to photograph your Fall wedding at the Bradford estate!
