Intimate Ocean City, NJ Wedding | Brooke & Chase

On November 9th, 2024, I photographed Brooke and Chase’s Intimate Ocean City, NJ Wedding! Their classic Jersey Shore beach house wedding took place at the location they love the most, the beach! They had a sweet first look on the balcony of the beach house, beautiful golden light for their portraits, a personalized sunset ceremony where they read their own vows and was officiated by the wife of Chase’s high school baseball coach. The ceremony was filled with emotion, both my bride and groom shed tears during their walk down the aisle and during their heartfelt vows. The evening included cocktails and passed hor d’oeuvres, speeches, cake cutting and a first dance for Brooke and Chase before their entire guest list hopped in limos and went to Atlantic City for dinner! Brooke and Chase first met their freshman year of high school when Chase moved to her school. However, they did not really talk to one another until their junior year. When they first began spending time together it was during the pandemic so they couldn’t actually go anywhere, but their first official date was when they seniors in high school and they went to a local breakfast place. Brooke knew Chase was the one when she realized they would do anything to never lose each other. They spent the first two years of their relationship long distance and each time they would finally get to see each other it was like the first time all over again.

Engaged 12/14/2022, the proposal from Brooke: “Chase proposed at the jetty in Longport, NJ. He did his best to surprise me but I knew exactly what was happening. It was intimate and perfect, and we took a weekend trip to Stone Harbor right after!”

What Brooke loves most about Chase is how hardworking and passionate he is about everything in his life. Chase loves the small gestures Brooke does for him everyday to make him smile. When Chase, a professional baseball player and Brooke, who just received a degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in nutrition weren’t wedding planning, they love to cook dinner together and go out to breakfast on weekends. They also love to pick a show to binge watch together. Brooke says that they always argue about when they will have kids, how many kids they will have, and what countries they will travel to. Even though they haven’t agreed on these things yet, they are all dreams in their marriage. Now married, their ultimate dream is to be happy and healthy, and grow old together.

Their advice for couple’s currently planning their wedding is to give yourself enough time, and enjoy every step of the process even when it seems overwhelming.
