June Wedding at Scotland Run Golf Club | Nicole & Jacob

On June 15th, 2024, I photographed Nicole and Jacob’s June Wedding at Scotland Run Golf Club in Williamstown, NJ! Their modern and romantic black tie wedding had a color palette of dusty blue and was filled with white flowers. Nicole and Jacob chose to be traditional and did not see one another before their ceremony where they added a personal touch by exchanging written vows that were both sweet and emotional. Once they said “I do” it was portrait time and we used every inch of the gardens for intimate couple’s portraits before their reception began. Once it was time to party, they had a romantic first dance with cold sparklers, gorgeous golden hour portraits and a sparkler exit! But my favorite part of the day was how family played such an important role in the day, a piece of Nicole’s mom’s wedding dress was wrapped around the stems of her bouquet, Nicole did a sweet first look with her Dad, their siblings were best man and maid of honor and they both shared sweet dances with their parents at the reception.

Nicole and Jacob met on bumble and Nicole says it all started with one swipe right and an instant match between them. They began their relationship at the height of the pandemic and could not meet in person until May. It started with endless FaceTime calls and turned into long nights snuggling on the couch. They quickly fell in love and knew right away that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Their first real date was at Skeeters Pub in Blackwood during the summer when restaurants finally re-opened.

The proposal from Nicole: “We were in Jamaica at our hotel’s entertainment bar and he disappeared for 30 minutes. I was texting him to come back and he finally did. The DJ called him up to the stage and he made me join him, and then he popped the question!”

Nicole and Jacob are each other’s best friends. The two make each other the happiest they’ve both ever been. They encourage each other to be the best possible versions of themselves and are each other’s “rock”. A few of Nicole and Jacob’s favorite memories from their time together are walking on the beach in South Carolina, taste testing nearly fifty different chocolate chip cookie recipes, adopting their “babies” Gino & Rocky, buying their first home together and getting engaged in Jamaica.

When they weren’t planning their June wedding at Scotland Run Golf Club, they love to watch sports, play video games, cook and bake, hang out with family and enjoy making memories down the shore. Now married, their dreams include starting a family and traveling the world together.

Nicole and Jacob’s advice for couple’s currently planning is to do what you two want! It’s your day not anyone else’s. And finally, they were most looking forward to finally being each other’s spouses and celebrating their love with family and friends.
