September 15, 2022
On September 8th, my amazing team photographed Shannon and Tyler’s Mansion on Main Street Wedding in Voorhees, NJ! My happy couple had a gorgeous sunny day for their romantic and elegant wedding.
Shannon and Tyler first met at a Winslow High School football game in 2011. They had actually gone to elementary school together too and had mutual friends but never talked. Shannon remembers seeing him walk with his class down the hallway when they were 8-10 years old! Their first date was to a Hammonton football game. Shannon was 17 years old and she drove him there because he was only 16 and didn’t have his license yet. The first time Shannon met him she knew he would be someone special to her but little did she know that almost 11 years later they would be getting married. She says he is such a kind, sweet, passionate, loyal and selfless man. Only a man she dreamed of since she was a little girl. She loves the way he treats people and is so generous and caring. He is very smart and handsome too!
Engaged on 12/13/20 the proposal from Shannon: “Tyler took me to our favorite restaurant Little Nonna’s in Philadelphia. We have been going there for years so I thought it was just a regular date. We sat down and we’re talking then he said he had to use the restroom so he left and I continued to drink my wine. When he got back he said “can you stand up for a second” and took my hand. Knowing me I didn’t realize what was going on and said no I’m drinking wine silly sit down. He looked at me with his green eyes and I knew he was going to propose. He got on one knee and I started crying, it was a beautiful moment I will never forget.”
Now married, their dreams include traveling as much as they can, they have even already started planning their first trip to Italy next September for their one year anniversary! They want to go on a lot of vacations before having a baby, but that time will soon follow as they can’t wait to start a family together in the near future. They both adore kids and can’t wait to have their own one day. Shannon can’t wait to grow old together and to cook all Tyler’s favorite meals for the rest of their lives. Their advice for couple’s currently planning is to have fun and enjoy the planning part because it goes by so fast! Try and do it together too. Shannon says was most looking forward to seeing Tyler during the first look, and his reaction did not disappoint! She said they have been waiting for this day since they were teenagers!
These two are off to Aruba for their honeymoon, thank you to Shannon and Tyler for choosing myself, Alex and Abbey for photographing your beautiful Mansion on Main Street wedding!
Every part of our journey through life is sacred and passes by way too quickly. Susan elegantly captures the story of your legacy from the beginning with marriage and throughout motherhood with each special season it brings.
