WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE NEWBORN SESSION >
February 10, 2020
Last Fall, I captured Caitlin and Dan’s Northern Liberties engagement session in Philadelphia, PA. I met these two on a gorgeous Fall day, first at their favorite Mexican restaurant Dos Segundos for beers and salsa and chips and finally on the streets of this Philly neighborhood. I am so excited to share this happy Northern Liberties engagement session.
Caitlin and Dan first met while they were both working at Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. Dan was a biologist and one of his jobs was to care for the touch tanks where Caitlin worked educating kids. Their first date was at a Mexican restaurant. Caitlin didn’t know much about baseball and he didn’t know much about the theater so they were able to share a lot about their passions with one another. Now, they love going to baseball games and seeing shows together!
Engaged on 07/27/2018, the proposal from Caitlin: “We got engaged in Chicago! We love visiting new cities and Chicago was one we were especially excited for. We found a weekend where we could see BOTH The Cubs and White Sox play (Dan loves baseball) and we went to see the musical Hamilton (I love the theater). My favorite food is pizza so we had PLENTY of that too. On the night of our engagement, Dan took me to see this really beautiful fountain along the water in Grant Park- Buckingham Fountain- and that’s where he got down on one knee and popped the question! It was truly the perfect weekend.”
When these two are not planning their classic and romantic Old Mill wedding, they love traveling to new cities, taking road trips, and having movie nights. They also love eating their favorites: pizza and tacos! Once married, their dreams is to have a long and happy marriage full of family, travel, movie nights, pizza and tacos, and laughter!
Any advice for future bride’s planning?
Get organized early on! It helps to take things one at a time and being organized definitely helps with that.
And finally, what are you most looking forward to about your wedding day?
We’re both looking forward to be surrounded by all our friends and family!
Every part of our journey through life is sacred and passes by way too quickly. Susan elegantly captures the story of your legacy from the beginning with marriage and throughout motherhood with each special season it brings.
