WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE NEWBORN SESSION >
November 20, 2023
On November 11th, I photographed Jeana and Drew’s November Wedding at The Bradford Estate in Hainesport, New Jersey! These two had a romantic and dreamy wedding and they incorporated the “11/11 make a wish” quote into their day. They had a color palette of peacock, champagne, gold and ivory. They had a personal ceremony officiated by the bride’s uncle. My favorite part of the ceremony was that they had a ring warming ceremony which is an old Irish tradition that originated to infuse wedding rings with love and blessings from all of a couple’s family and friends. By passing the rings through the hands of every guest, the rings receives good wishes from each and every person in attendance. I have actually only ever seen this done in person one other time, so it was a fun tradition to capture! Once Jeana and Drew said “I do” it was time for their fun reception! My happy couple was on the dance floor all night and the bride and her dad even had a choreographed dance routine. The dance started as a traditional slow dance and transformed into a choreographed fun dance involving the bridesmaids and then all guests were invited to dance. Before the night was over, we captured a fun exit – I am so excited to share Jeana and Drew’s November wedding at the Bradford Estate!
Jeana and Drew met while studying engineering at York College of PA. Like most engineering students, they didn’t have much time, so a lot of their first dates were hanging out around campus, talking, and getting to know each other. It didn’t take long for either of them to realize there was something special and different about their relationship. Both Jeana and Drew remember the same time when they knew they were both in it for forever. During the first summer of their relationship, they were long distance because they had jobs in different places. Drew came to visit Jeana that summer and when he had to head home, she wouldn’t let him leave. Clearly being apart was not an option for Jeana and Drew felt the same.
Engaged on 12/04/2021, the proposal from Jeana: “My best friends took her out to brunch to hang out and catch up. They mentioned wanting to go to this place called “Grounds for Sculpture” that was nearby. I was a little confused because it’s not something we would normally do, but it sounded fun, so I said sure! When we got there, we were walking around, taking photos when Drew appeared out of the bushes. He got down on one knee and asked “Will you be my everything for the rest of my life?” and I said “Of course!” We called our parents telling them the good news and they told us to come on over for dinner at my parent’s house. When we got there, I was surprised once again with all my family and friends in the front yard waiting for us. We celebrated the night away and it was perfect!”
When Jeana and Drew, both mechanical engineers weren’t planning their November wedding at the Bradford Estate, they enjoy spending time with their dog, Nelson, going to Phillies games, and traveling to visit friends and family. They are also trying to learn Spanish together! Now married, their dreams together include building their dream house, having a few kids, and growing old together. Jeana and Drew’s advice for couple’s currently planning their wedding is to not be afraid to use the preferred vendors list from your venue. It gives you easy contacts for experienced vendors who know your venue!
Jeana and Drew were most excited to get married and getting to spend their special day together! Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your beautoful November wedding at the Bradford Estate!
