There’s something magical about fall weddings in New Jersey – the crisp air, the golden light, and the rich tones of the season. Erica and Michael’s October wedding at Scotland Run Golf Club captured all of that and more. Their day was the perfect mix of romance, laughter, and family. The kind of celebration that reminds you exactly why fall weddings are so special.

Their wedding style was described as romantic, classic, and a Fall wonderland, and it truly lived up to that vision. The color palette of burgundy, navy blue, dusty pink, and light blues was woven beautifully throughout every detail. From the florals and bridesmaid dresses to the reception decor, the colors created a soft yet elegant contrast against the vibrant fall foliage that surrounded the venue.

The day itself was nothing short of perfect, a beautiful and sunny October afternoon that made every outdoor moment glow. Erica and Michael shared a private set of vows after their first look, a heartfelt moment just for the two of them before the celebrations began. The ceremony, held in the pavilion at Scotland Run, was as emotional as it was joyful. Officiated by the bride’s uncle, it was filled with laughter, happy tears, and a few lighthearted moments that perfectly reflected their personalities.

Erica and Michael’s wedding was the kind of day that feels timeless – full of romance, laughter, and the beauty of fall at its finest.

Erica and Michael met on Hinge. Erica wasn’t looking for love, she wanted to be “wined and dined” and Mike was her first date. They went to Miller’s Ale House for drinks and her face hurt the next day from how much he made her smile. They were instantly connected, and have been together ever since that date.

Erica knew Michael was the one before they even met. Her soul was immediately interested in him and she had never had that kind of feeling before about anyone, she knew he was going to special! Mike knew Erica was the one after their first date.

Engaged on August 4, 2024, the proposal from Erica: “We went to Cape May for the weekend and it was our first time there. Our first night down there our plan was to go to a nice dinner and then go for a walk on the beach at sunset (my favorite time to be on the beach!). It was forecasted to rain that night and Mike was obsessed with the checking the weather. I had no idea why he was so obsessed since we had a beautiful day the next day to go on the beach at sunset. Luckily for Michael the rain never came! While I was distracted by the beautiful sunset sky, Mike was getting ready to propose. Suddenly he was down on one knee telling me how much he loved me, and my reaction? Run out of excitement, I was like a dog with the zoomies! It was perfect in every single way!”

When Erica and Mike weren’t planning their October wedding at Scotland Run Golf Club, they love to cook and are home bodies. They love to pick a show and watch it every single night while cuddled up on the couch. Now married, they cannot wait to be parents. They would love two kids and look forward to being a soccer mom and dad! Their advice to couples currently planning their weddings is to have fun and try not to stress. Erica and Mike only toured two venues, they chose to not overwhelm themselves with options!
