WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE NEWBORN SESSION >
July 8, 2020
A couple of weeks ago, I photographed Maura’s rainbow themed cake smash session. I first met her parents in 2016 for their engagement session, I photographed their Northampton Country Club wedding in December of 2017 and met Maura during her in home newborn session in 2019 so I was thrilled we were able to do this colorful and happy first birthday session in early May!
We began Maura’s rainbow themed cake smash session at Croft Farms in Cherry Hill where I captured adorable family photos of Mary Kate, Patrick and Maura. Maura started out a bit shy, but we captured some adorable shots of her! After a few sweet family photos, we arrived in my backyard where I had set up a rainbow backdrop from R2 Backdrops for Maura’s cake smash session. Since this was my first cake smash following COVID19, everything was photographed outdoors and not in my studio. Maura was a great cake eater and absolutely loved her cake, she may be small but this little girl can eat!
I hope you enjoyed Maura’s adorable rainbow themed cake smash session, I always love when my former wedding couple’s start families and ask me to photograph them on their journey. Keep scrolling for Maura’s in home newborn session that I photographed last year! Thank you to Mary Kate and Patrick for allowing me to continue capturing all of your milestones.
Every part of our journey through life is sacred and passes by way too quickly. Susan elegantly captures the story of your legacy from the beginning with marriage and throughout motherhood with each special season it brings.
