WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE NEWBORN SESSION >
August 23, 2016
At the end of June, I photographed Shannon and Sebastien’s beautiful and sophisticated Vista Top of the Tower wedding. I first met these two at their engagement session last September. I loved running around the art museum area with them and knew their day would be beautiful and I was right!
The day started at a nearby hotel for me and the girls. I loved Shannon’s calm demeanor and especially loved the sparkly dresses she chose for her bridesmaids. Shannon was the classic bride and her dramatic train on her Martina Liana dress totally completed her look!
While I relaxed with the girls, my second shooter Matthew was with the guys. The guys were also relaxed and I loved the shots he captured of the Sebastien and his groomsmen outside of the church right before the ceremony began.
Their ceremony was at Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, which was the most beautiful church I have ever stepped foot in. Their ceremony was traditional and a full mass. I loved the sweet smiles these two gave each other throughout the ceremony!
After the ceremony, we boarded a party bus and headed to the Art Museum for bridal party and couple photos, we had a beautiful day and a crowded museum staircase, but we made the best of it! Shannon had one of the most dramatic trains I have ever photographed and we definitely showed it off for quite a few photos!
Once at Vista Top of the Tower it was time to party! But first our gorgeous couple had a romantic first dance followed by a sweet speech by her father. Once dinner was served, the dance floor was open and this group was so fun to photograph!
Before the evening concluded, we managed to sneak our couple outside for a few sunset shots and I am so glad we did because there was a dramatic sunset and the view was incredible!
Before we left, we joined our couple one more time for night shots. The city looked so beautiful at night and the sparklers added something extra to the photo <3
Thank you to Shannon and Sebastien for allowing me to photograph your day, it was absolutely perfect!
