Amy and Jack’s wedding day at The Mansion on Main Street was the perfect blend of romance, modern elegance, and pure joy. This gorgeous summer celebration was filled with thoughtful details, heartfelt moments, and a lively party that kept everyone smiling late into the night.
The day began with Amy’s bridesmaids dressed in soft light blue gowns, the perfect complement to the colorful floral palette of pinks, oranges, blues, and whites. The flowers added a vibrant, whimsical touch to the overall romantic and modern design the couple envisioned. One of my favorite parts of the day was when Amy and Jack chose to share their private vows before the ceremony. A growing trend I’m seeing more and more, couples are requesting this intimate exchange be photographed from a distance—and I have to say, I love it! It allows them to fully be present in the moment while still having it beautifully documented, and the images always feel so genuine and emotional.
The ceremony took place indoors in The Mansion’s stunning chapel, a space that feels timeless and elegant. Surrounded by family and friends, Amy and Jack exchanged their vows before sealing it with a kiss, an aisle dip and stepping into married life with so much excitement and joy.
Afterwards, the energy carried right into the reception. Their first dance featured a romantic dip that set the tone for a night full of love, laughter, and celebration. Heartfelt speeches brought happy tears, the dance floor stayed packed all evening, and Amy surprised everyone with a fabulous outfit change that brought even more fun to the night!
Amy and Jack met at Ryan’s pub in West Chester in 2017 while they both attended West Chester University. She worked there and he introduced himself to her one day. Their first date was in West Chester at Mercato. Amy knew very early on that he was the one! After their very first date, she knew there was something truly special about Jack. There was an instant connection, like she had known him forever. She remembers thinking, “This is different. This is real.” She didn’t have to second-guess it, she just knew that Jack was the one. And as time went on, everything only confirmed what her heart felt from the very start.
Engaged on 09/23/2024, the proposal from Amy: “Jack and I got engaged at a small town in the South of France, Villefranche-Sur-Mer. He proposed on the beach before we went to dinner.”
When Amy and Jack weren’t planning their Summer wedding at the Mansion on Main Street, they love going to new restaurants and experiencing new places together, they enjoy wine tasting and traveling, playing tennis, going for walks and hanging out with friends! Now married, their dreams include doing a lot of traveling! They cannot wait to have kids and a dog one day.
Their advice for couples currently planing their weddings is to start planning as soon as possible, and do not be afraid to delegate tasks to bridal party members and family. It can get stressful at times, but don’t forget to enjoy the experience! Amy says she was most looking forward to celebrating their love love surrounded by so many people that they love! She couldn’t wait for him to be her husband!
Amy and Jack’s wedding was the perfect example of how romance, elegance, and modern details can come together seamlessly. The Mansion on Main Street provided the most beautiful backdrop for their summer celebration, and it was an honor to capture every unforgettable moment. These two are about to embark on a two week honeymoon to Croatia! Congratulations to Amy and Jack!
