Tavistock Country Club Wedding | Maura & Eric

On September 13, 2025, I photographed Maura and Eric’s Tavistock Country Club Wedding and I absolutely loved capturing it! This day was extra special for me, as I photographed Maura’s sister’s wedding last year. Being welcomed back to document another milestone for the same family is truly one of the greatest honors of being a wedding photographer.

The day began at Maura and Eric’s new home in Moorestown, NJ, surrounded by family, laughter, and all the excitement that comes with a wedding morning. From there, Maura and Eric had a traditional church ceremony at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Moorestown. As a Moorestown wedding photographer (and Moorestown local myself!), it’s always so meaningful to capture weddings at such a beloved hometown church.

After the “I do’s,” we headed to Tavistock Country Club for portraits. We were lucky to have the most gorgeous light that afternoon—the golden glow across the golf course made for stunning wedding photos of the new Mr. and Mrs. The grounds at Tavistock are always a dream for wedding portraits, and Maura and Eric looked so natural and joyful together.

The reception at Tavistock Country Club was filled with heartfelt speeches, sweet moments, and a lively dance floor that never slowed down. From start to finish, this wedding day was full of love, family, and celebration, the perfect reflection of Maura and Eric’s relationship.

Maura’s aunt and uncle met Eric and his friends at a bar in North Wildwood. Her aunt texted Maura and told her she had met a nice guy and shortly after Eric added her on instagram and messaged her saying they should go out sometime. Their first date was a couple weeks after Eric first messaged Maura. They went to Treno, a wine and pizza bar – two of their favorite things!

Eric knew Maura was the one of their second date. They had gone out dancing and when Justin Bieber came on Maura said she loved that song and so did Eric, so he knew they would be perfect for each other! And Maura knew Eric was the one shortly after their first date, they had met down the shore and she remembers thinking how comfortable she felt and how excited she was to hang out with Eric. It felt so easy to be together.

Engaged on July 13 2024, the proposal from Maura: “We went out with my sister and her husband to Strathmere and ended up on the beach where Eric proposed. We celebrated with family and friends that night at Eric’s parents house in Stone Harbor and ended the night dancing at the Whitebrier in Avalon.”

When Maura and Eric weren’t planning their Tavistock Country Club wedding, they like to try different restaurants and wineries, spend time with their family and friends and be on the beach together down the Jersey Shore! Now married, their dream is to always be laughing, having fun and growing old together!
