WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE NEWBORN SESSION >

Last weekend, I photographed Morgan and Eric’s The Merion wedding in Cinnaminson, NJ. They had a very mild day for their classic and romantic winter wedding. Their the Merion wedding had a color palette of burgundy and blush and their romantic and classic decor was filled with flowers, greenery and candles.
Morgan and Eric first met at a bar in Atco, NJ, through a mutual friend. Eric says that aside from the first moment he laid eyes on her, his brother’s wedding was when he knew Morgan was the one. Morgan’s mother talked her into traveling to West Virginia to be Eric’s date for the wedding. Eric had asked her prior and she seemed apprehensive as she had not met his entire family before, but her mom had told her to go because she may regret it later on. The way she was welcomed and stole the hearts of his entire family, just like she stole his, was the moment that he knew that she was the one. That weekend was the first time he told her that he loved her and will for the rest of his life.
Engaged on 04/21/2019, the proposal from Morgan, “We were preparing for our first holiday that we hosted in our new home – Easter. Me and my mom were in the kitchen and she was teaching me how to prepare the ham. When I turned around, he was on one knee! After he popped the question, my mom yelled “yes!” before I could! My immediate family was there to witness and we later celebrate with my entire family over Easter dinner.”
Morgan says that Eric is selfless, caring and funny. They have faced many trials and tribulations over the past year. Her mom’s cancer diagnosis has allowed her to see him in a new light. He has dropped everything to be by her family’s side and does something every single day to make their lives easier. His humor allows them to laugh and enjoy life during even the toughest times.
Eric says that Morgan is loving, encouraging and dedicated. It is amazing to see how much love she has for him and his family. The love that she gives her mother every single day, while being there for her, her father and brother through her mother’s cancer diagnosis is nothing short of amazing. Morgan sees the best in Eric and always pushes him to be a better person. Morgan dedicates her whole life to helping others, whether it is her own family or patients that she has at work, never putting herself first and making sure that she gives everyone the best care possible.
Morgan and Eric’s The Merion wedding began in Hammonton for both the bride and the groom. When I arrived at Morgan’s parents home, the ladies were in hair and makeup by Infinity Salon while I was busy photographing all of Morgan’s stunning details. They had a blush and burgundy color palette for their The Merion wedding and it came together perfectly with their bouquets by Passions Florist! I also loved all the gold accents in Morgan’s invitation suite and jewelry. This was an emotional group and it was my honor to capture such sweet moments between Morgan and her family, especially when her mother helped her into her romantic Mori Lee lace mermaid wedding gown that featured a high neckline.
Once we arrived the Merion, it was time for their first look! We captured this on the grand staircase before making our way outside for couple and bridal party photos. We had a very mild day for their February wedding, so we were able to spend so much time outside, this photographer is always grateful for warm weather in the winter 🙂 Once portraits were complete, it was time for their indoor ceremony, which was highly personal with both sweet and funny stories from their officiant who also happens to be their friend! Once they said, “I do” it was time to party and these two never left the dance floor thanks to the Legacy Band!
Thank you to Morgan and Eric for allowing me to capture your The Merion wedding! Congratulations!
Now that these two have finished planning their The Merion wedding, you are likely to find this athletic couple into sports, they love football and basketball! Eric also enjoys to cook and Morgan enjoys watching with a glass of wine and eating. Their dream is to start a family and would love two or three kids!
Morgan and Eric hope to take a honeymoon this Summer!
Every part of our journey through life is sacred and passes by way too quickly. Susan elegantly captures the story of your legacy from the beginning with marriage and throughout motherhood with each special season it brings.
