Vineyard Ballroom Wedding at Renault Winery | Monica & Christian

On August 25th, I photographed Monica and Christian’s Vineyard Ballroom Wedding at Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City, NJ. Monica and Christian’s wedding style for their wedding was classic and rustic, they love nature, so they wanted to say their I do’s somewhere where there was a lot of greenery and beautiful views.

Their wedding began the day before when I captured their church ceremony and portraits at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Merchantville, NJ. My happy couple couldn’t wait to see one another down the aisle and their church ceremony did not disappoint! After they exchanged vows, I photographed family and couple portraits, it had rained during their ceremony but had cleared up for some romantic photos of my newly married couple!

On the day of their Vineyard Ballroom Wedding at Renault Winery, the forecast had called for terrible weather all day, but had cleared up by noon and we had the most beautiful day. I captured my happy couple all over the grounds of Renault before they exchanged vows for a second time in front of all their guests in the Vineyard courtyard. Their classic details fit in perfectly with the rustic ballroom where my happy couple had a lively reception. But my favorite part of the day was when we captured golden hour photos of my bride and groom, Monica told me all she wanted was genuine photos that were full of love and I think we accomplished that!

Monica and Christian’s first date was at Starbucks. They were the only people in the coffee shop and they could not stop talking and laughing, they had an instant connection. They knew very early on that they were the one for each other, they both felt such a strong mutual connection and felt inseparable ever since.

Engaged on 05/03/2022, the proposal from Monica: “We were on a week long trip to Upstate New York and Vermont. On the first day, we went on a 12 mile hike. At the top of the hike, we walked to the edge of the mountain top and looked out into the view. Then, he got down on one knee and proposed.”

When Monica and Christian weren’t planning their Vineyard Ballroom Wedding at Renault Winery, they like to spend as much time outdoors; hiking, biking, kayaking. During the summer, they enjoy the beach!

Now married, Monica and Christian are excited to finally be free to be with each other! They want to travel everywhere they want and they want lots of adventures and to make tons of memories together. Their advice for couple’s currently planning is to do what makes you both happy, this is your day and do not let anyone ruin it. They were most excited to see one another for the first time and their first dance. These two will be going on their honeymoon in October to Punta Cana.
