Wedding at Renault Winery | Egg Harbor City, NJ | Leigh & Pete

Last week, I photographed Leigh and Pete’s Wedding at Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City, NJ. Leigh and Pete had a modern wedding at this beautiful South Jersey vineyard and I had the pleasure of capturing another gorgeous and sunny wedding day at Renault Winery! Leigh and Pete had a personalized ceremony with Pete’s father officiating and their own personal vows. Once these two said “I do”, the party started and never ended! These two never left the dance floor and Leigh had some of the best dance moves from any of my bride’s ever! She was so fun to photograph.

Leigh and Pete first met in high school. He played lacrosse at a nearby school and was friends with some of Leigh’s friends so she would see him around. They reconnected on Hinge many years later and hit it right off. Leigh knew very early on that Pete was the one, their relationship blossomed very fast and she had a gut feeling about Pete. She truly feels like they were meant to reconnect when they did.

Engaged on 07/12/2021, the proposal from Leigh: “We had just gotten home from a weekend in upstate New York for Pete’s Dad’s wedding. It was a Monday of all days, so I had no idea. We were going to our local hangout spot with our little pup and when I came downstairs to head out, he had our favorite song playing and got down on one knee. I cried a lot and we still went out, and Pete had both of our families, friends and coworkers all waiting at the bar to surprise me.” Last year, I was lucky enough to capture their Philadelphia engagement session!

Leigh says that Pete is the most caring and loving person she knows, he has the biggest heart and she loves the way he loves her and others around him. He is such a family man and that makes her excited for their future together.

Leigh was most looking forward to finally marrying Pete and celebrating with their family and friends (and dancing all night). Their advice for couple’s currently planning is to enjoy the engagement! Wedding planning can be stressful so make sure you still make time for each other.  Now that they have finished planning their Wedding at Renault Winery, their dreams include children and staying in Philly for now and moving to the suburbs eventually. They both love to travel, so that would be ideal as well.
