Wedding at The Windrift Hotel | Avalon, NJ | Frances & Ed

Last weekend, I photographed Frances and Ed’s Wedding at The Windrift Hotel in Avalon, NJ! Their romantic Jersey Shore beach wedding was the perfect sunny day. I am so excited to share their joyful wedding!

Frances and Ed’s love story began at a local CVS, they were both in line to pay when Ed struck up a conversation with Frances who happened to be in nursing scrubs. He later found her on social media after searching the name he saw on her work badge! They began chatting and eventually set up a first date. Their first date was a Phillies Game for Nurse’s Week in May of 2017. After dating throughout the Summer, they took their first trip together to Ocean City, Maryland Labor Day weekend, the time away solidified for both of them that they were meant to be!

Engaged on 12/22/2019, the proposal from Frances: “Ed brought my family (Mom, Dad, my daughter Gianna) and some of his family (brother, sister in law, nephew) to the Dallas Cowboys/Philadelphia Eagles game on 12-22-19. He rushed us all to arrive early and then we found out we’d be able to go down onto the field during the pre-game practice. That’s when Ed asked me to turn around; his brother and sister in law were holding up two jerseys, one Dallas (my favorite team) and one Eagles (his favorite team) that were personalized to spell out “Will You Marry Me” with the numbers 12 & 22 (for the date). He took a knee and popped the question! We were able to enjoy this extremely special moment together with our families and received congratulations and pictures with the Eagles cheerleaders! (Ed’s nephew was in all his glory!).”

Their advice for couple’s currently planning is not to sweat the small things. Planning has been stressful but it all comes together, especially when you both support one another! For their Wedding at The Windrift Hotel, they were most excited to celebrate their love, blending of their families, and sharing these moments with their closest family and friends! Now that they are married, their dreams as a married couple include expanding their family and continuing to grow in their love! Frances and Ed are currently honeymooning in Key West!
