Last weekend, I photographed Kelly and Kyle’s gorgeous Cape May wedding at Willow Creek Winery! We had the perfect day, like every other weekend this Spring, we had the possibility of rain, but my luck continues and we were still able to accomplish portraits outside at three locations – the Magnolia Porch House, the beach and finally at Willow Creek Winery. As a former Cape May bride myself, this quaint picturesque Shore town holds a special place in my heart so I was beyond thrilled to be back at my absolute favorite location for a wedding!
Kelly and Kyle’s Willow Creek Winery wedding day was filled with romance. The days details were perfect for a winery wedding, the bouquets were hand tied and featured blush and burgundy garden roses and peonies, they also had a few smaller blooms with a hint of blue and deep pink to play a supporting role nestled into a lush textured green bouquet of foliages. The bouquets were finished with flowing blush silk ribbons which looked absolutely amazing blowing in the wind!  Cape May Flower Co. did a fantastic job on these stunning bouquets! The romantic feel of the day did not stop there, the bridesmaids all wore blush dresses from Show me Your Mumu and the groom and groomsmen were in navy suits with red ties that matched the other colors perfectly! I loved the way all these colors popped at each photo location!
The morning of this wedding was so calm, I had arrived at the Magnolia Porch House in Cape May constantly checking the weather, we weren’t sure how lucky we’d get but we were all optimistic we’d still be able to get all the photos we wanted. I absolutely adored photographing all of Kelly’s simple but beautiful details (her rose gold engagement ring was to die for!). After Kelly was dressed and we had a sweet and emotional first look with her Dad, it was time for the first look with my bride and groom! The Magnolia Porch House was the perfect backdrop for this and after a few more sweet photos of the two of them, we drove to the beach in their trolley for more couple and bridal party photos. The beach was so perfect, there was barely any wind and it felt like we had the beach to ourselves!
Once at the vineyard for their Willow Creek Winery wedding, we concluded the rest of the portraits just in time for the sweetest ceremony ever. During the vows, there was not a dry eye in the seats, Kelly’s dad even handed Kyle a tissue at one point and I had a hard time photographing behind my camera…the worse part is when I looked away to compose myself, every guest I made eye contact with was also crying! Even the officiant, who also happened to be Kelly’s brother was wiping away tears throughout!
After the ceremony, their outdoor cocktail hour was relaxed before the fun reception began. Their reception featured tons of special details created for the bride and groom, there was a whiskey barrel top that had an engraved “E”, whiskey bottles incorporated into the decor, a hand-made welcome sign created by the best man, and a custom drawing of the couple from a friend of the bride. But before these guests had fun on the dance floor, there was a round of sweet speeches, adorable dances and finally lots of dancing when their band, Soul Patch Philly began playing for the remainder of the evening!
These two are off to Italy later this Summer for an amazing honeymoon! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Enderle and thank you for allowing me to photograph your beautiful Willow Creek Winery wedding! xoxox
