Liz and Jason’s wedding at the Wilshire Caterers in West Orange, NJ was photographed by Susan Hennessey Photography associates, Abbey and Marianne. Liz and Jason were another one of my 2020 couple’s who were forced to postpone their wedding a whole year due to the pandemic and their wedding day certainly did not disappoint, their wedding was a gorgeous day and a joy to photograph! They had a color palette of red and white and there were many nods to Liz’s Chinese heritage throughout the day.

Liz and Jason had the perfect Summer wedding at the Wilshire. There had been a threat of rain all week for their day, but we got lucky and were still able to do all their portraits outdoors as well as their ceremony! The day began at the venue for the ladies and continued with a sweet first look outdoors. Once these two finally saw each other, we headed to Verona Park for formal portraits. After we arrived back to the venue, we photographed a few more couple photos as well as family before these two renewed their vows at their outdoor ceremony. They read personal vows to one another and there was not a dry eye! Once remarried, their family oriented day continued to a lively reception where Liz and Jason shared a romantic first dance, fun parent dances and sweet speeches. Their day was worth the wait and I am so happy these two chose to reschedule!
