Last Summer, I photographed Adrianna and Madeline’s same sex wedding at The Manor House at Prophecy Creek Park. These two ladies were such a joy to photograph (their engagement session is here) and I am so excited to share this wedding!
I started the day with Madeline and her bridesmaids in the bridal suite at The Manor House at Prophecy Creek Park. I absolutely loved Madeline’s gorgeous gown and all her details. My favorite detail was their vow books, which had “All the Reasons I want to Marry You” on the cover. I also loved the surprise gift from her bridesmaids, a frame with lines from their first dance song.
Once ready for the first look, these ladies were ready to see each other. Their first look was one of my all time favorites, the joy on their faces was priceless!
One thing I love about same sex weddings is each couple gets to make their own traditions and Madeline and Adrianna were no different, Adrianna wore a suit and called herself a “Broom” and her half of the bridal party were called “Broomsmen”.
Their ceremony was beautiful and began with a ring warming ceremony. Tons of tears, sweet vows, beautiful readings and an excited couple! I loved Adrianna’s reaction after kissing Madeline for the first time <3
Their reception details were beautiful. I loved their cake topper and the colorful flowers in their centerpieces. This was definitely one of my most favorite and colorful weddings of the year!
Adrianna and Madeline’s reception was extremely memorable as well! They adorably danced to their first song, laughed like crazy during toasts and even smashed cake in each other’s faces during cake cutting.
