Rain couldn’t stop Alex and Ashley from having an incredible wedding day at Renault Winery! While the weather may not have cooperated, this beautiful venue gave us plenty of indoor spaces to explore, and we made the most of every opportunity to capture their day. From a first look on the grand staircase at Chateau Renault to a celebration in the Vineyard Ballroom, their wedding was full of beautiful details and timeless portraits.
The girls started their morning getting ready at Chateau Renault, while the guys spent the morning in the bridal suite. Even with the rain coming down outside, there was so much to look forward to as everyone prepared for the day ahead.
One of my favorite moments was Alex and Ashley’s first look on the grand staircase of the hotel. The staircase made such a beautiful backdrop for this special moment before we headed into some indoor portraits throughout the property.
Of course, we couldn’t leave without taking advantage of the iconic white arches outside Chateau Renault! Thankfully, we found a way to capture a few portraits beneath them while staying dry, giving Alex and Ashley a chance to enjoy one of the venue’s most recognizable spots despite the weather.
Afterward, we crossed the street to explore some of Renault Winery’s indoor spaces for even more portraits. One of the things I love about photographing weddings at a venue like Renault Winery is having options when the weather doesn’t go according to plan. A rainy forecast doesn’t mean sacrificing beautiful photos, and this day was the perfect example!

Ashley looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress. The dramatic, full skirt added so much volume and made a statement in every portrait. Her removable sleeves were another beautiful detail, adding versatility to her bridal look throughout the day.
Her bridal style paired perfectly with the wedding’s rich color palette. The bridesmaids wore burnt orange dresses, while the florals featured a mix of burnt orange, burgundy, and creamy neutrals with greenery woven throughout. These warm, earthy tones brought a beautiful richness to the day, especially against the classic architecture and elegant interiors of Renault Winery.
Even on a rainy day, the colors and details felt warm, inviting, and timeless.
Alex and Ashley exchanged vows in Wine Makers Hall at Renault Winery. With the weather keeping everyone indoors, the ceremony space provided a beautiful setting for the moment they had been waiting for.
There is something special about a wedding day that unfolds a little differently than planned. While an outdoor portrait or two might have to be adjusted, the most important parts of the day remain the same: gathering with your favorite people, making promises to one another, and celebrating the beginning of married life together.

Following the ceremony, the celebration continued in the Vineyard Ballroom. The warm color palette carried beautifully into the reception, with burnt orange, burgundy, cream, and greenery complementing the elegant setting.
After a day of rain and moving between indoor locations, it was time for everyone to settle in and celebrate Alex and Ashley. Renault Winery’s beautiful spaces meant that, despite the weather outside, their wedding day still had all the ingredients for a wonderful celebration.
Alex and Ashley’s wedding was a reminder that a little rain doesn’t have to take away from your wedding day. Sometimes, the weather forces a change of plans, but that doesn’t mean the day is any less beautiful or memorable.
Between the grand staircase at Chateau Renault, portraits beneath the iconic white arches, the ceremony in Wine Makers Hall, and the reception in the Vineyard Ballroom, Renault Winery offered so many beautiful backdrops for their wedding photography.
Alex and Ashley, thank you for having me there to capture your day! Wishing you both so much happiness as you begin this next chapter together.
