I am so excited to share my list of the best Cape May wedding venues! One of my favorite places in the world to shoot weddings is Cape May and it is so special to me, as I am also a Cape May bride! I was married at the Southern Mansion on March 26, 2016 and I adore going back to my favorite place for weddings and engagement sessions.

The Chalfonte Hotel

One of the best Cape May wedding venues is The Chalfonte Hotel, this historic hotel is the oldest continuously operating hotel in Cape May and it provides the perfect setting for your wedding celebration. The outdoor ceremony takes place in the Secret Garden, cocktail hour is held along the sweeping verandas and the reception is held in the grand Magnolia Room. This Victorian era hotel is located in the historic district of Cape May and only a few short blocks to the beach.

Congress Hall

Congress Hall is by far one of the best Cape May wedding venues and is a historic and iconic ocean front resort that has been hosting weddings for more than 100 years. The ceremony can either be on the grand lawn or on the beach, cocktail hour on the porch and your reception in the grand ballroom, which can host up to 225 guests! Located directly across the street from the ocean, this venue is any Cape May bride’s dream location!

The Grand Hotel

The Grand Hotel located directly on the water gives this venue breath taking ocean views and is the perfect spot for an intimate or grand wedding. With options to have the ceremony on their wedding veranda or on the beach, you are able to design your wedding to fit your unique style!

The Southern Mansion

The Southern Mansion is by far the best venue in Cape May to have a wedding and I may be biased when I say this, but I am a former Southern Mansion bride myself!  The Southern Mansion, is a historic hotel located within Cape May’s Victorian district. It is a unique venue with colorful rooms and a large Master Suite to get ready in with an attached sun room that is perfect for hair and makeup. You can choose to have the ceremony indoors or an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour on their lush lawn, dinner in their large solarium with the garden view, and finally a different room for dancing. Infused with stunning beauty and original character The Southern Mansion is your perfect Cape May wedding venue!

Virginia Hotel

The Virginia Hotel, located in the middle of Cape May’s historic district and just half a block from the beach provides the perfect space to celebrate your special day, indoors in the Ebbitt Room dining room or outdoors on the back garden patio, it is the perfect hotel for an intimate wedding.

Cape May Winery

Cape May Winery is a beautiful rustic winery in Cape May, the wine is delicious and the rows of grapevines are the perfect backdrop for photos. I have found Cape May Winery to be very accommodating for both wedding parties and engagement photo sessions, just be sure to call ahead to request permission!

The Magnolia Porch House is a great location to stay the weekend of your wedding! Sleeps up to 16 guests and provides plenty of space to get ready on your wedding day. The wrap around porch is perfect for photos as well!
