Last October, I photographed Erica and Clint’s Washington Crossing Inn wedding. The Washington Crossing Inn is one of my favorite venues, I love that it is historical, in fact, it’s the site where General George Washington and his troops made the famous crossing across the Delaware River. The area is perfect for the couple that loves history or the rustic couple looking for old charm buildings. They also have a gorgeous area for an outdoor ceremony!
I started the day with Erica and the girls at a nearby hotel. All the girls were having their final touches on hair and makeup as I photographed Erica’s details. I loved her timeless yellow gold rings and her invitations were printed on handkerchiefs made by the Polka Dotted Bee, such a unique keepsake! Once all the girls were ready, everyone boarded a shuttle and we settled into the bridal suite at the Washington Crossing Inn.
After we completed the first look, we used as much of the historic area as possible for photos. There was a possibility of rain all day and we almost made it with none, but thankfully it only rained for a few short minutes and then we were able to continue outside without getting too wet!
Their ceremony was in Washington Crossing Inn’s beautiful garden. We were so lucky the rain held out and they were able to have their outdoor ceremony. The ceremony was short and sweet and their officiant did a great job making everyone smile. I loved photographing their ceremony here!
I loved Erica and Clint’s tables. They had beautiful tall candelabras and the most unique table numbers I have ever seen. The escort cards were small keys on a table with a sign saying “Love is the key to happiness” and each table number was a door knob. Such a sweet gesture and another unique personal touch these two did for their wedding!
Once the party began, it didn’t end. But I was lucky enough to steal these two away for a night shot in the misting rain! I loved photographing Erica and Clint’s Washington Crossing Inn wedding and am so happy to share these fun reception photos <3
