Megan and Reigner’s fall wedding at The Bradford Estate was the perfect mix of modern romance, soft autumn colors, and meaningful moments that made the entire day feel so personal. With desert rose bridesmaid dresses, earthy brown tones, sage greens, and beautiful natural light throughout the property, their wedding had such a timeless look with just the right touch of rustic charm.
But what made this wedding so special went far beyond the details. From an emotional first look in the gardens to handwritten vows that had everyone reaching for tissues, Megan and Reigner’s day was filled with the kind of moments that remind me why I love photographing weddings.
The color palette was absolutely beautiful for a fall wedding. Muted pinks, earthy neutrals, and soft greens paired perfectly with the season while keeping everything light, romantic, and timeless.
We spent time exploring the grounds of The Bradford Estate for their portraits, taking advantage of the gorgeous gardens and the beautiful sunlight that showed up throughout the day. The property gave us so many lovely backdrops, and I loved how naturally everything came together.
Their first look in the gardens was one of my favorite parts of the day. Megan and Reigner had such an emotional reaction to seeing each other, and it was a sweet reminder of how much anticipation goes into that moment. Taking a little time together before the ceremony gave them space to slow down, take everything in, and enjoy being together before celebrating with all their favorite people.
Megan and Reigner’s story started at Kean University, where they were both transfer students living on the same floor. Their first date was a trip to the movies in the spring of 2019 to see Avengers: Endgame. A movie date that turned into a lifetime together? I love that!
When Megan talked about how she knew Reigner was the one, her answer was so sweet. He makes her feel safe and feels like home. She knows she can trust him with her whole heart and count on him to stand beside her through all of life’s ups and downs.
They love making each other laugh, going on adventures, playing games, and watching their favorite shows and movies together. Looking ahead, they’re excited to have a home of their own, start a family, add kids and pets to the mix, and grow old together.
And their engagement story was just as memorable as their relationship. On December 16, 2024, Megan’s parents told them they were taking a trip to New York City for the day. What Megan didn’t know was that the outing was actually a surprise proposal! In front of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, surrounded by friends and family, Megan and Reigner celebrated the next chapter of their story.
One of the most meaningful parts of Megan and Reigner’s wedding was their ceremony. The officiant was the best man’s father, making the moment even more personal, and the couple chose to read their own vows.
There was not a dry eye in the room. Hearing two people make those promises to each other in front of the people who know and love them most is always special, but there was an added layer of emotion woven throughout this ceremony.
Reigner’s parents have passed away, but they were absolutely part of the day. Megan and Reigner reserved two seats for them in the front row, a beautiful way to honor their memory and include them in such an important milestone.
Later in the reception, both best men shared incredibly emotional speeches that included heartfelt mentions of Reigner’s parents. Those moments were a reminder that weddings hold so many emotions at once. There is joy, excitement, laughter, and sometimes the sadness of wishing someone could be there to celebrate alongside you. All of those feelings deserve space on a wedding day. Photographing these moments is something I never take for granted. They tell a much bigger story than the portraits or details ever could.

After such an emotional ceremony, it was time to celebrate!
Megan and Reigner’s reception was so much fun, and these two barely left the dance floor all night. Before joining their friends and family for the party, they shared their first dance on a cloud of low-lying fog, creating such a romantic moment to kick off the evening.
The speeches were another highlight, with both best men and both maids of honor sharing stories, memories, and plenty of emotion. It was clear just how loved these two are and how many people were excited to celebrate their marriage.
And once the dancing started, Megan and Reigner were all in. Their reception was full of energy, laughter, and the kind of celebration that makes you wish the night could last just a little longer.
When I asked Megan and Reigner what advice they would share with other couples planning their wedding, they had a great reminder:
Prioritize the things that matter most to you, especially when it comes to choosing your vendors and deciding where to focus your time and budget. Most importantly, remember that your wedding day is about celebrating your love. Make decisions based on what will make the two of you happiest, rather than feeling pressured to do things a certain way.
I couldn’t agree more! Your wedding should feel like you. Whether that means an emotional first look, personal vows, special ways to honor loved ones, or spending every possible minute on the dance floor, the most memorable weddings are the ones that reflect the couple.
Megan and Reigner, thank you for letting me be part of such a meaningful day. From your emotional first look in the gardens to your heartfelt vows and an unforgettable reception, your wedding was full of so much love.
I hope the years ahead bring you everything you’re looking forward to: a home filled with laughter, adventures together, a growing family, pets, and a lifetime of making each other smile.
Congratulations, Megan and Reigner! It was such a joy to capture the beginning of this next chapter for you both.
