WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE NEWBORN SESSION >
November 9, 2017
Last weekend, I photographed Ashley and Jon’s gorgeous Hamilton Manor Wedding that was the perfect Fall day. When I think back to their Hamilton Manor wedding, all I can remember is that it was fun. These two had a great group of family and friends in their bridal party and we laughed all day, I can still hear Ashley and Jon’s laughs when I look back at these images!
I first met this fun couple last fall for their engagement session. I photographed these college sweethearts on the campus of TCNJ as that is the location where their romance began. We ran all over the campus with their dog, Reese and even ended on the softball field where they first met. I started the day with Ashley and her bridesmaids at a hotel in Hamilton, New Jersey. As the girls were in hair and makeup, I photographed all her pretty details, I LOVED her bouquet. I don’t see many all red bouquets, so I was so delighted when her florist handed me this stunning bouquet – all the greenery was perfect and I couldn’t have imagined a better bouquet for this gorgeous Fall wedding at the Hamilton Manor!! Once everyone was dressed, we headed to the Hamilton Manor for their first look. Ashely and Jon wanted it at the doors of the barn, so my second shooter Josh and I made that happen. And I am so glad we did because their reactions were priceless. They both cried!
The fun and excitement continued throughout the day of their Hamilton Manor wedding with a sweet ceremony that was officiated by Jon’s uncle to personal vows that they read to one another. Once they were married the party really started! The bridal party entrances into the Hamilton Manor ballroom was a flip cup game that each bridesmaid and groomsmen couple had to compete against, it was so fun capturing each couple compete and how proud each champ was. I am proud to say Ashley won her round! 🙂 Once the romantic first dance was finished and the sweet speeches occurred, this group partied until the end! Yet, they still found ways to honor family and friends. On the day of the wedding it also happened to be a groomsman’s birthday as well as Jon’s Aunt’s birthday, so they surprised both of them with a cake after cake cutting. I absolutely adored photographing this sweet couple at their Hamilton Manor wedding <3
