Last week, I photographed Luisa and Joseph’s Jersey Shore microwedding in Bay Head, New Jersey. As a photographer, the one positive thing that has come out of COVID-19 are these small and intimate weddings. Prior to this year, I was booked nearly every weekend during busy season photographing large all day weddings that I didn’t have the time in my calendar to accept small weddings. I absolutely love capturing these smaller celebrations of love and playing such an important role in my couple’s lives no matter how big or small their weddings are!
Luisa and Joe planned a beach wedding with a ceremony in Bay Head. During their sweet ceremony, they said their vows under a beautiful arch that was made of driftwood and was decorated with greenery and florals, it overlooked the ocean and was the perfect setting for their beachy nuptials. After their Jersey Shore microwedding ceremony, we took portraits of them on the beach before heading to Charlie’s of Bay Head for cocktails and hor d’oeuvres on the roof deck with the most stunning sunset that gave us the prettiest shades of pink, purple and orange. Luisa loves sunsets, so it was the perfect ending to their intimate Jersey Shore microwedding!
Now that Luisa and Joe are married, they are planning an Italian honeymoon in the near future. Thank you to Luisa and Joe for allowing me to photograph your Jersey Shore microwedding!
