Last weekend, I photographed Fiza and Thomas’ South Jersey microwedding in Marlton and Moorestown, NJ. My happy couple had a small and intimate gathering due to the pandemic with a ceremony with their closest family at Church of St. Isaac Jogues followed by stunning portraits at Strawbridge Lake Park with peak fall foliage! After portraits were complete, my sweet couple celebrated with an intimate dinner in Cherry Hill.
Fiza and Thomas met at work, where they briefly worked together. For their first date, they went out to dinner where they talked for hours. Fiza says it was so magical and completely effortless. She knew Tom was the one when he first met her family and he completely swept them off their feet!
Engaged on 12/20/2019, the proposal from Fiza: “We have this tradition – We go to Shady Brook Farm every year around Christmas and take a picture by the big tree. Little did I know that this time, the picture would be of Tom down on one knee!”
Fiza and Thomas love to travel and now that they have finished planning their South Jersey microwedding, they are looking forward to traveling, starting a family in the near future as well as growing in their marriage day by day. Their vows state it best, “until death do us part.” Their advice for couple’s planning is to take your time and enjoy every little moment! The big day comes and goes so fast so you really want to enjoy every little thing leading up to it.
