On March 27th, I photographed Amy and Ryan’s Wedding at Bradford Estate in Hainesport, NJ. Amy and Ryan’s original date was scheduled in April of 2020, just three weeks after the world was completely changed by the pandemic. After FOUR wedding dates, they finally got to say “I do” in front of all their family and friends! Their romantic and elegant wedding had a color palette of maroon, light pink and gold and I loved that their nine month old daughter, Hailey played a huge part in their day. Amy’s grandmother escorted her down the aisle and Hailey even got the best introduction ever – she rolled into the reception in a mini remote control car!
Amy and Ryan met at Prospectors Bar and Grill in November of 2015. Amy was enjoying a night out with friends line dancing while Ryan was there celebrating his cousin’s birthday. He introduced himself to her like the gentleman that he is and even closed her bar tab! A month later, Ryan friend requested Amy on Facebook and they started a conversation over “Words with Friends”, after talking over the game app, Ryan asked her for her phone number.
In July of 2018, Ryan proposed to Amy on a cruise to Bermuda. They spent the next day snorkeling and sipping on Bermuda’s signature drink, the “rum swizzle”, which also happened to be their wedding day signature cocktail!
Their advice for couple’s currently planning is to get wedding insurance! They also suggest keeping the day simple and to save the big bucks for a home or a vacation. Amy says to find a venue that does everything for you and that it was amazing having a venue and vendors who took care of everything for her. Since the day flies, take a second and enjoy each moment of your day.
Amy and Ryan were most looking forward to finally celebrating their love for one another in front of their friends and family as well as eating, drinking, and dancing at their Wedding at Bradford Estate!
