Last weekend, I photographed Dani and Nate’s Wedding at Windows on the Water at Frogbridge in Millstone, NJ. They had an outdoor wedding that was filled with beautiful weather, a bride and groom that were so in love, a loving family, a gorgeous chuppah for their Jewish ceremony and the most wild Hora I have ever photographed. I am so excited to share their romantic wedding at Windows on the Water at Frogbridge!
Dani and Nate met as sophomores at Ramapo College of New Jersey. They had mutual friends and had just moved into apartments right next to each other. They were both out during syllabus week in an area of campus called The Village when Dani lost track of her friends and approached him because he looked familiar. They became really close friends after that night. In 2019, they reconnected a few years post college and went to a Quinn XCII concert together, they had the best time and it will always be a special memory for them.
Engaged on 07/29/22, the proposal from Dani: “Nate accompanied my family on a trip to Portugal for a week. My mom is always saying that we don’t have enough nice family photos, so she planned what I thought was a family photoshoot in the Algarve region on the beach. We went through most of the photoshoot and then my mom said we should take photos with our back facing the photographer to get an artsy shot of us looking out at the beach views. Once my back was turned, Nate came up beside me and asked me to marry him. I was so surprised and it was so nice to share the special moment with my family in such a beautiful place.”
When these two weren’t planning their Wedding at Windows on the Water at Frogbridge, they love to travel and hike and have visited several National Parks together. They enjoy snowboarding and skiing in the winter and their annual family beach trips in the summer.
Now married, they are looking forward to buying a home and settling down. They hope to continue traveling and exploring the world before having children and building a family together. They just can’t wait to start their lives together and all the adventures to come. Their advice for couple’s currently planning is to remember that it is such a special time for you and your fiancé so make time for each other amongst all the craziness. Enjoy every moment because before you know it, it’s the wedding day!
Dani was most looking forward to celebrating with all of their friends and family, especially the ones from out of town. Nate is just so excited to marry Dani! These two are off on a Greek honeymoon for ten days where they will be exploring Athens, Paros, Crete, and Santorini. Thank you to Dani and Nate for choosing me to photograph your Wedding at Windows on the Water at Frogbridge!
Every part of our journey through life is sacred and passes by way too quickly. Susan elegantly captures the story of your legacy from the beginning with marriage and throughout motherhood with each special season it brings.
